Michael Simon

Hello folks,

Michael Simon, mhh at the very beginning I was not very amused about him beeing the new member of Scooter. His way he is looking, so shy and like a little faithfully child as well did not fit into the group in my opinion. He looked like a looner. I remember many peoples in this forum has been also not very amused about him beeing the new member but things changed.

Nowadays I do not wanna miss him, I like him a lot, even more than Rick (Sorry rick, you are a great guy too ;-) . He got very congenial / pleasant for me within the last 365days. I cant say why but thats the way it is. I hope he will be part of Scooter as long as possible. I hope I will meet him one day to talk a few words with him :D
I am sure he is a very funny guy and I am happy that he is not so silent anymore. At the beginning he seemed to be very silent during interviews and so on. But when seeing newer interviews or backstage videos you see that he is funny and not silent at all. Cool guy. In germany we use to say, "Silent waters are deep". And the most important think: The music turned not bad after he got a part of Scooter. The music is still brilliant and I love it! He is really a good addition to Scooter no matter what I and we said years ago when he entered Scooter!

Whats your opinion about Michael Simon? Do you got still the opinion he does not fit into the group or do you changed your opinion in a positiv way as I did?

@ Michael Simon (in the case you read this)

He has changed alot, first he was very silent, now he talks all the time and is very happy. In my opinion he fits well to Scooter. I liked him from the beginning, although I have to say he was a bit too silent and modest for Scooter in the early days, but now I like him even more because he got far more lively and happy. He enjoys it being with Scooter, you can really see that very good now !!!! For me Michael is a good addition to Scooter. He's a funny and kind person. I hope he stays long with Scooter

And the succes proves that he fits well, the second album with Michael gets gold in Germany an number 1 in the UK, A great start for Michael being together with Scooter. 8) And I'm sure most fans who didn't liked him before started to like Micheal now far more......... I honestly think no one could be angry at Michael about anything, he's such a pleasent guy and very near to the fans

Very very nice guy,i renember the first concert i was, in 2002, jay was recently joined the band and when he apeared in the scene i started screaming him, and the last february in La coruña i did the same with Michael, but with the difference he gaves his thumb up looking at me, and at the end of the concert he gave me his hand from the scene and told me something i didn´t understand, i only could say "you are god".

I think he is more near from the fans than Rick and HP, and very crazy, in the scene he has a lot of energy, as i could see.

Long live MR SIMON!!

I've liked Mike since the beginning, I think he's great! :D Of course it was strange when the third member changed, one day there was Jay and the next day I come to the forums and there's a thousand topics about the fourth chapter and some guy named Michael Simon and all that stuff! :D Yes, Mike was a bit shy at first, but no wonder -- just imagine yourself in his position, suddenly being in one of the most popular electronic bands ever!! But anyone who has seen him on stage has to admit the guy rocks, he's full of energy and fits Scooter really well! :D It's also interesting as he's a bit different from the usual Scooter member's style, different, but fashionable nevertheless. ;) And then, Mike is quite close to fans, as well. Oh, and most importantly, the music has been just marvellous during his time, and Scooter gained a lot new success! :D Can't wait to see what he'll come up next with Scooter, I wonder when the new single will be out... 8)
 This is a signature.

For me it was every time hard if a new member have joined. :(

I was a fan as Axel was in the band, so for me Scooter was H.P., Rick and Axel.
I was very sad as he have left Scooter, but as I meet the first time Scooter I see how nice Jay was and so I liked him a lot.

Michael is different like The-Flying-Dutchman have written, but I also see that he now have changed and fit better in the band. :D

I was tempted not to reply - but I guess that could be mis-interpreted :)

I have liked Michael since the day he joined - but thats not to say that I didn't have a big problem when Jay left.

I found Scooter about the time Jay joined - so for me Scooter was with Jay - I will admit i found it hard when Jay went - but not because Michael joined - but because I suppose that something I loved had changed - buts thats the way of life - everything changes and moves on.

I never want to compare people and say anyone is better than another, and for me all Scooter chapters have been great.

I think Micheal is a great guy - he is a great addition to the band, and fits very very well with Scooter. At the tour this year he was great - he had so much energy and enthusiasm on stage, and I guess he has grown more confident as a band member since his early performances with the band - and it showed on the tour 8) 8) 8) . Also just recently Scooter has had a lot of sucess - which is great and Micheal is a big part of that.

One thing that I have noticed is that when things are not so good for the band it is easy to blame the third member - also easy to think the third member is responsible for a great success like we have just now. In my view Scooter are 3 (4 I guess including Jens) who work together - so its Scooter that are great.

On a personal level I think Michael is great - he is obviously talented, and has bought new ideas to the band - he is friendly, he has a wicked sense of humour, has settled well into the band and on top of all that has a great ass

I like him a lot - and am happy to see the sucess of the 4th Chapter, especially here in the UK :)

but I have to admit I also like all the other chapters - and for me Rick will always be the musical master 8) , but Scooter is so special because it is a mix of talents :)

I think if ever the day comes that Michael leaves (and I hope it does not) I will be as upset as I was when Jay left

It is possible in this life to appreciate and care about more than one person - so I don't make a habit of choosing one person above another - but in answer to the topic - great guy - like him a huge lot - and Scooter's 4th chapter is damn good! :)

This is always kind of weird when a new member joined, I remember my first reaction about Axel. But he ended up being the greatest talent musically to me after ... When Michael joined I didn't think much and for a very long time I didn't think much of him other than looking like a nice person and also someone with lot of humor and joy of living you know ? :) He seemed and is a very friendly guy. Did not have the chance to really talk with him. I don't know what he wrote on the old track that is "Do the right thing" but I did love the Scooter remix a lot of this track.
Seriously, I really do NOT want Michael to be replaced, as they have this as a custom among the band now to change their third member every 4 years, but I think Michael suits Scooter very very well now, even if I'm a first chapter lover forever... I ended up accepting Michael although for long I didn't think anything of him, like transparent, not caring. He's a real Scooter guy to me now. And he makes me think of many qualities of past members all gathered in one ! ;) Thumbs up for you, Michael !
Happy to have you on board !

He brings fun, new ideas, succes... What do Scooter want more?! ;-)
Nevertheless I'm curious to knwo what will happen in two years... (When Michael will be in the band for four years.........)

A cool guy, but I like Axel and Jay much more.

And fade away just like our love that died
