I just heard Radio 1's announcement of Scooter at being number 1. LMAO it was so funny, so ungracious. Fearn and Regie suck. Hope the single does well now.

Madonna [...] with her 11th number one, Hard Candy – but with sales of the album tumbling by 68.7% to 29,667, it slips to number two, being replaced in pole position by German techno band Scooter, whose AATW/UMTV set, Jumping All Over The World, debuts at the summit, on sales of 33,557.
The sales difference is stunning there ! :shock:
Yes, I thought they have sold a litle more than Madonna, but Scooter outsaled her with almost 4000 Copies more, this is great news
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! 
It's coz basically Madonna thought she could get to the top by flahing what's in between her legs, not the music.
Apart from that, an album less that ten pounds with 34 songs on it, that's a bargain and a half!
The album had a wide appeal which is why it was so successful. There was potentially 55,000 new fans to be reached after the clubland concerts and what better to introduce them to Scooter by throwing in a greatest hits compilation for free alongside a superb standalone album. It would of also appealed to older fans in the UK who would of thought Scooter had vanished after the Logical Song or in the late 90's.
AATW marketed it perfectly, especially advertising on ITV
