Oh my god, I was in HMV Piccadilly Circus today, and what do they play on the loudspeakers but 'Hyper Hyper' from way back in 1994!! They plugged the album after it as well, think that's the first time I've heard Scooter played in HMV before!

Sadly the price of the album has gone up AGAIN to £12.99  It was £9.99 just a few weeks ago!
It's not a bird, it's not a plane, it must be Dave who's on the train!

That sounds awesome I would have loved to have been there.

I was in Woolworths in Burnley on Sunday and they had the Album up for £10.99 I think, might have been £11.99.

I wonder why it's done better here than all the other countries. Is it because we've been deprived for so long.

How many people bought the album not knowing a single song from the album but thought they would buy it just because it's Scooter?

Or could it just be the massive promo?

That's indeed a very good question....... I think for sure the promo helped much, but the live performances in the UK of Scooter helped even more in my opinion. Without the Clubland gigs there would not have been such a huge succes for Scooter in the UK....

It says that in UK more than 100 000 people who like Scooter. But also people, who became interested in Scooter when they kicked Madonna from number one, have thought: "Hmm... What style of music could kick Madonna off s? Maybe I'll buy this album" So we can hope Scooter will reach platinum. 8)

Number 9 this week. It seems Scooter won't stay in the top ten next week.

Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

They have done really well in the Top 10 already - I note that they were in the Top 10 a lot longer than Madonna, for example! :D

Scooter are a very appealing band- Pendulum are a good band but they only appeal to a certain group because of their genre. Scooter have everything!

Cascada were an unknown band to most people so they bought the album. It was harder for Scooter to release a new album here because of the stigma from Ramp! (TLS). Then again, that could have helped them.

It's also a bloody cheek that Neil Diamond releases his Greatest Hits before releasing a new album. An f**king joke if you ask me. Do it like Scooter and have a bonus CD. Obviously short on cash recently

Number 9! Well, considering at it's release I was hoping for top 20 I have no reason to complain. Very very good! :D

Pendulum are more cross-genre atm, I expect them to do a Prodigy (change style every album) or a Kosheen (move to another genre altogether and stay there). Preferably the former, but even so a metal act with breakbeat influences still beats a trip-hop act with indie/electro influences IMO.
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!
