Albums by The KLF have surfaced on iTunes and Spotify.

The White Room, Chill Out, The White Room (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), The Lost Sounds of Mu Vols 1 and 2 and Space are all available to stream or download as albums or track-by-track via the legitimate sites.

The KLF famously deleted their back catalogue after quitting the music industry in 1992, but fan-run Twitter feed KLF Updates noted yesterday that the albums had surfaced.

"I seriously don't believe this! I really don't. I must have woken up in a parallel universe," it said.

"No idea how these got on iTunes but there you go. Will they be there for long?

"Lost Sounds of Mu and White Room OST on amazon too. None of these were legitimate releases maybe the KLF bootlegged themselves!"

This morning, the feed added: "Listening to KLF via Spotify. It must be about 20 years since you coukd get KLF through recognised channels. (sic)

"The quality seems the same as the Boots (which were fairky good). Can't be fukky legit but who knows who is vehind it."

A statement from Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty at the time of their split read: "For the foreseeable future there will be not further record releases from the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, The Timelords, The KLF or any other past present and future name attached to our activities. As of now, all our past releases are deleted."

The pair later founded The K Foundation, burnt a million pounds and, in 1997 as 2K, released the single 'F**k The Millennium'.
