I think in the UK if a single has that many remixes and a b-side, it can't qualify for the singles chart.

In this case it's not such a bad thing. It's the worst b-side they have ever done :P

Better to have more remixes than a b-side, good as though FIJ is. I can't believe it's being released tomorrow.

The last single I bought from an English shop was Jigga Jigga. Not far off 5 years ago. :|

Ok people, don't be surprised when this doesn't get in the top 10. There aren't many physical copies around. In the main HMV in Brighton, which isn't a small city, there are a grand total of 0 copies of the single. I spoke to a guy who checked the system, they didn't order any. They have dozens of copies of September's Cry for you though. :| I went along to Zavvi, which is another music store here, and they too are not stocking it. The smaller HMV in Brighton does have a dozen copies though, again, I spoke to a guy.

So basically, about 10 will be sold in the city of Brighton and Hove. I have to say, we've let ourselves down. :| I hope that the rest of the country makes up for us. I've spoken to a few friends of mine in London, and they inform me there was no sign of it on the shelves. And my friend in Manchester has said they are only a few out. :(

And there is no 2 track, that will harm its chances too. Alot of people don't want aload of remixes. I think that people on the Clubland tour would, though. And they are the target audience so in a way it's good. But they've missed a trick, I think they have anyway. I would have bought the two track, I did for Jigga. And I've no doubts that alot of Scooter fans across Europe would have done the same. Could have improved the chances of success. :(

But nevermind, I reckon for a top 20. 8) Hopefully.

Yeah, ok. :| You probably bought the only one.

Another thing, why is there no news about the single release on the website? :| It seems obvious that they really couldn't care less how it does over in the UK. It's like an after thought, the new single in Germany comes out on friday. That's the one they're interested in, so why release TQ in the UK? Seems bodering on pointless to me. :(

I got mine today from the HMV in Cork City, Ireland. I actually couldn't find the singles section in Zavvi! ( or however you spell that ridiculous name, I was in a rush, though. )

Then someone laughed at me when he saw me with the CD in college ( I had a project deadline today. )

The Micky Modelle remix isn't that bad, its the only one I didn't hear until now, I've heard all the others on youtube.

I remember I used to be a member of a forum which had all the midweeks posted - found it eventually yesterday and they are still revealed on there :) - bad thing is though Scooter are only expected to chart between 30-40.

another bad sign is

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/singlesreviews/

its been completly ignored again - no one is going to know its out. AATW seem to be pushing September - Cry for me" more.

But even if they chart that low as you say, finally people will know that the single is out, so in a way the first week charting will be a sort of advertising for Scooter that their single is in store, even without AATW pushing it like they should do. Perhaps when people hear it's in the charts they will rush to the shops to buy it  :P

Very true mate, I just know with proper promotion from AATW this would be top 20 easily.

Just abit of unrelated info -

Logical Song sold 380,000 copies in the Uk and was 15th highest selling single of 2002. Nessaja sold 89,000 copies and was 119th highest selling single of the same year. Weekend sold 57,000 copies and was 121st in 2003.

Ah, damn, this doesn't look good ... :?

Just been back from Bluewater, one of the largest indoor shopping centres in Europe. There are a number of copies in HMV but Zavvi don't have any. I asked the girl, she looked on her computer and it's not even on their computer. She confidently told me the last single was 2004. So one of the biggest music stores in the UK isn't even stocking it - that is a disaster. Someone isn't doing their job properly ... :!:

I went into my small local CD shop this morning and walked out with a copy, was a nice shelf full of them :)

Sounds like the big stores haven't done too well with stocking them
