Quoted from ""Steve C""

Fire is quite odd as the synth melody is stolen from a Scooter track :P (This is a Monstertune)
Don't Waste No Time is a ripoff of a tune I don't know the name of, that appeared in a Smirnoff ad in the same year.
Burn the House is a ripoff of some 80's electro tune that I still don't know the name of (as I only have a midi of the original tune)
The Chaser is original musically afaik, but not lyrically (all stolen from Breakbeat Era tracks)

There's plenty in the first and 2nd chapters (including She's the Sun and Dancing in the Moonlight afaik), in the 3rd chapter however you can count them on two hands (Like Hypa Said, Soultrain, UWW3, Mesmerised, plus a few B's from the 3rd chapter) and nothing so far in the 4th.
firth of clyde is original

Not quite, the ambient melody (not the piano that follows it) sounds similar to Orbital - I Wish I Had Duck Feet (which itself might have been inspired from Duran Duran - Ordinary World)
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

Haha Jigga Jigga! is far from being original, although the song is great itself.
It consists of
1). Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Creatures
2). Mac Zimms - L'annonce Les Colours (The Mystery Remix)
3). Fictivision vs C-Quence - Symbols
4). Enya - Exile

So yeah, pretty much it's not original :P
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide

last one is wrong! Chrous isn't from Enya. It's something own from Scooter. Not everything in a track, which sounds a bit like a other track, is directly ripped. I only say "Ratty's Revenge". Break with Nikk's Vocals. Somebody was saying, that this is ripped from Simple Minds "Belfast Child", but it's totally different.

Scooter has and will still ripp many stuff, but not in every track are only ripps.

Devil Drums is without any doubt inspired by safri duo. It reminds alot.

I dont have a problem with ripping if its only a sample or a melody part, but when whole songs are put together with different parts from other artists songs i dont like it. The last years Scooter has ripped more and more and is today only the shadow of what they once was.

At least 90% of Scooter songs are covered or sampled. Face it. I like Scooter for the music and don't really care if it's theirs or not.

Then again some original tracks are better than Scooter's versions. Especially in the last 5 years.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

Curfew sounds very similar to Yet Another Day by Armin van Buuren.
I first thought that Armin got the inspiration from Scooter, but actually his
song is from 2002 and Weekend was released at the beginning of 2003 so...
yeah, great song although.

The Manual, by the KLF tells people how to have a number one by getting lots of different sounds from other songs and putting into your own.

They wouldn't be able to burn a million pounds if they weren't successful lol.
