Well they have been in Chicago, but a tour isn't possible I think. Scooter has naturally some fans in the USA, but far not enough for a tour. Maybe a DJ Scooter gig like in Australia, that would be possible, so a small DJ gig tour trugh a few disco's is possible

They could co-headline with a more well-known artist/group.
Touring is not only for the fans, it's the best f##k way to get new ones.

There you have a point, great idea :P

Alright. I'll just be happy if they come here at all so I can see them.
I didn't really mean like a full "tour" here in the US, but at least one show; I'll be happy with that!! :D

Why? What possible impact could Scooters appearance have on your life? Seriously, I cannot see the logic behind such desperation to witness three roughly middle aged men... It bewilders me. Aren't your CD's enough?

Well then why do artists put on shows and tours? Why do people go to concerts? There's your answer

Welcome to the forum :D

I guess you did not get the chance to go to either of the Chicago show :(

Hope you get to see them - whatever IwantToBelieveX says it is an unbelievably wonderful experience - I can only guess that he has not seen them to say that

I assume it's to boost popularity and profit. Pleasing small minded people who selfishly indulge themselves in meaningless jobs, materialistic goods and music.. Strange how these people are excessively appreciated in today's society don't you think? Makes you wonder what kind of parents would condone such insanity.

And by the way Sandra, I believe my input is just as valuable as any other members.

@IwantToBelieveX - yes - you are entitled to your views - but being banned a couple of times in the past should have indicated to you what the acceptable ways to communicate with others on this forum are.

Also it is not a particularly nice way to welcome a new member to this forum - she asking a perfectly reasonable question, as many others have joined and done before - usually without being "attacked" - harldy the way to make a new fan feel welcome here is it?

What is acceptable between members who know each other and are happy to talk in a certain way is rather different to what is an acceptable way to treat a new member that you know nothing about, except that she is a Scooter fan.

BTW - I can think of much worse forms of "insanity" in society than to go to a concert and have fun - do you have a problem with people enjoying themselves in a harmless way?

No, not at all. However I think one of the most harmful aspects of society is the acceptance of idolizing near talentless money making morons. It flabbergasts me to see that Scientists, WN, Ufologists and other intelligent respectful individuals are almost given no public light at all. This illogical backward stance of blissful ignorance needs to stop, otherwise this fanciful liberal system will continue to dumb down the nation. And as I said, I cannot find any legitimate reason for a mother to approve of this backward mindless defective nonsense.

Haven't you noticed the amount of youths mimicking the typical 'bad-boy' image adopted from the ghettos of America? Or the youths who dress themselves in nothing but black, wallowing in self pity? It is truly unbelievable what is currently taking place.

But who can blame them? Considering the fact that our once Western society has literally been stripped of it's identity.. Where do we fit in? Advocating this is only spawning more of these lifeless off-spring.

Having a bad day?

BTW - it may have escaped your notice that while many of us do appreciate scientists and other intelligent respectful individuals (personally not sure if that includes Ufologists though :? ), you can't actually personally have a good night out watching them :)

there are different things, and occupations and pastimes - each of which has its place in our society - and if you cannot see the difference between agood honest night out at a concert or club having fun, and a respect for science etc then I do pity you :(

No need as you obviously misread my post entirely.

Anyway, just to get back on subject. Scooter has been to Chicago twice. Once in September of 2005 and once in November of 2006. I went to both concerts, and like Sandra said, they were absolutely amazing experiences. Words can't describe :D

The first concert had a pretty big turn out but the second wasn't as crowded. Unfortunately the latter was not well advertised and the place they performed at wasn't nearly as good as the All State Arena. I really hope that hasn't affected them in coming back here. I really want to see Scooter Live in the U.S. again. It is probably one of my most fun experiences.

I personaly have a feeling they will be back to the US :)

Good to hear both past concerts were amazing :D

I think you used a very important word in your post Alan, when talking about Scooter - fun - this music is about having fun, a great time, for a short while getting away from lifs worries :)

A colleague of mine used to say that after I had seen Scooter live it was as if I had had a "happiness implant" :) If people had a few more of these I think the world would be a better place :)

What a great way of describing a Scooter concert :D That's almost exactly how I felt when I saw Scooter Live. I mean I felt like I was on top of the world and I didn't want it to end. I remember getting back from the concerts and being so pumped I couldn't go to sleep. Talk about getting a "high" from music. Anyway I hope the next time they come back to the U.S. I get a chance to meet them. Would be a dream come true :D

Wow!! I'm so excited now! I really do hope Scooter comes back to the US! Chicago is a little bit far away from me, but I think I can manage to make it. When Scooter came to the US in the past, I hadn't heard of them now. But now I have fallen in love with their music and am excited to see them live!

And to IwantToBelieveX, not EVERYBODY in the modern world is a stereotypical follower that you claim we all are!

Yeah, I'll pretty much go anywhere in the U.S. to see Scooter. I just happened to luck out and live near Chicago. I think the reason why they chose to perform here was I think we have a little bit larger techno/dance fan base. Although it is still not a very popular genre. Which saddens me :(

However, I definitely think that Scooter made an impact here and
I'm glad to hear that the U.S. Posse is on the rise. Welcome to the most intense sound you'll ever hear :D
