Ok, here goes.
The Definition - 6/10 - Definately their worst intro. Just a classical piece (I forget what it's called) while a computerised voice talks about jumping. Pretty bland.
Jumping All Over The World - 9/10 - I must say, I didn't have high hopes about this one, but it is fantastic. HP's shouts sound fresh and new over the 3/4 beat, and the HPV is decent. The melody after the HP is full of power, as well. Great start.
The Question Is What Is The Question? - 9/10 - I loved this when I first heard it, and I still do now. At the time, this was something new and creative. Powerful verses, and the main melody in the chorus really shines. Excellent choice for lead single.
Enola Gay - 9/10 - The original Enola Gay by OMD is one of my favoruite songs and Scooter put together a great instrumental rendition here. The HPV is interestingly put together and the main melodies from the original are excellently worked into a jump-hardstyle hybrid. Class.
Neverending Story - 10/10 - My god, this is f*cking brilliant - the kind of track Scooter ALWAYS put out in every album. The verses explode with power, which HP going on about god knows what and the HPV changes that completely to a happy, uplifting melody. Thenm the hard ebats come back. Easily the best track on the album, and one of their best songs of all time.
And No Matches - 8/10 - Unfortunately, the quality of the album goes down, starting now. While ANM is pretty good, it's basically a worse clone of The Question and really shouldn't have been the 2nd single.
Cambodia - 7/10 - This has got a lot of power in it, but it's pretty bland. The melody half way through is pretty good, but overall it doesn't do much.
I'm Lonely - 8/10 - Once again, the verses are excellent and powerful. There's also some trance style instruments in there. Then, enter the HPV. It's FAR too long and DOESN'T fit in with the song despite being pretty good. Imo, the main verse that follows is completely different to the HPV so it's too disjointed to be a classic.
Whistling Dave - 7/10 - Again, pretty bland. The A-Part does pretty much nothing and the Tetris theme isn't used very well unlike other bands. Dissapointing.
Marian (Version) - 8/10 - This had so much potential, but falls flat on its face at the final hurdle. The verse and choruses are very promising, but the song fails to get past that and basically repeats itself. Again, a dissapointment.
Lighten Up The Sky - 8/10 - This is a very interesting song, similar to Bramfeld. A lot of interesting sounds are put together and mixed about with before be are treated to a trance melody halfway through. Interesting, but just falls short of being a Scooter classic.
The Hardcore Massive - 6/10 Bad, bad way to end the album. This track does nothing at all and the video-game-esque melody doesn't fit in with the song. A shame.
The Greatest Difficulty - 6/10 - Pointless.
In conclusion, I feel this this isn't bad, but it isn't a classic Scooter album either. It's not the jumpstyle that I don't like about it, it's the fact that a lot of the tracks are very bland and don't seem to do much. Still, the first four tracks make it worth it, anyway. 8/10
