Slow it down guys... You must not think, that they have sold this week so many records. Germans buy not so much real CDs anymore. They download for money more the stuff direct on their PC. (or download the Stuff illegal hahaha)

The times, where bands sold many copies are over... only a few have still the high-record sale status like Madonna, 50 Cent... but not Scooter!

Yes but people are buying proportionally the same amount of CD's today. So the CD sales are still better than some artists, and not as good as others. You don't really have a part there.

You obviously didnt understand what I was saying... :?

Yes people are buying less CD's. But the number of CD sales does reflect the number of downloads. The more CD's are bought, chances are, the more downloads there are. So if scooter are selling a lot of CD's by today's standards, that is still a good thing.

Because the albums and singles don't come out here in Australia until a while after the German releases I download them. But then I buy the CD's when they do come out. Like I downloaded JAOTW the day of release. And finally found it in a store 2 days ago and bought it. That's alright in my opinion. And as for the single I bought it off itunes.

The Album is in the charts for 10 weeks now. Did any other Scooter Album achive this? As far as I can remember Scooter Albums are only very short in the charts.

Mostly the latest albums are short in the charts indeed, such as WGTLLN and TUAO.
I think Mind The Gap was rather long in the charts + And The Beat Goes On + Our Happy Hardcore + back To The Heavyweight jam + The Stadium Techno Experience + Wicked...etc. :wink:
So it's not new :wink:

But the new thing is that it's rather stabile, and went up again after a huge fall down. Other albums when they fell they stayed at low positions :wink:

So,"JAOTW" is on the good way to become gold!!!

This could get difficult. Only TSTE, MTG and BTTHJ received gold in Germany.
But one question: Why did BTTHJ achieve gold and why not NTTC (stayed longer in the German top20 and reached a higher place), OHH and Wicked (stayed longer in THE TOP100)?
