JAOTW - not as commercial as the last 3 albums

You can take this as I good point or a bad one, but judging by the samples in terms of musical creativity Scooter have gone back to what they did in the 2nd Chapter - producing a good mix of genres.

MTG, WGTLLN and TUAO - all of them extensively featured HP, and there were hardly any instrumentals. JAOTW has at least four, by the sounds of it (five if you count Enola Gay). People have observed that there's hardly any single material - that IMO is a good thing! Indeed, there are only four tracks on the album I would say could be released as singles, which proves there's a lot more in there for us more dedicated fans who want to see the band's other side. There's also a decent mix of genres there - despite the title, I think manyof the tracks have jumpstyle elements in them for the sake of it, and to be honest only TQIWITQ and ANM are the real thing - the rest are just hybrids of jump and some other genre. If you took away the jumpstyle elements from these songs they'd be just as good, if not the same.

I'm optimistic about the new album, from what I've heard - it sounds like Scooter may finally be returning to their roots. Let's hope they are.

I agree with you regarding the new album, but yet I would have preferred 1 or 2 less instrumentals to get more track's with HP in it (it have not to be 'single' tracks), that's my opinion.
I especially like HP tracks and am not such a fan of typical instrumentals, although a few instrumentals from JAOTW are 'different' instrumentals with atleast a small pitched or lowpitched voice / tone in it which make them better and more likable for me even without HP's voice ! :D I'm looking forward to it :P :P

dont be rediculous. there are no 4 instrumentals, just there are no lyrics in the cuts from the tracks in the samples!!

Listen to the sample of Up in Smoke on the And no matches CDM. There is a break with melodies like Trance music. Why don't you do a little more research before you open your mouth again. :D

What's wrong with "Choir Dance"? :? It is a nice tune...

But to be on topic: This topic-title is a joke, right? This cannot be serious.
That all the tracks have at least jumpstyle-elements in it is prove enough to say that this album is MUCH more commercial than the last ones. I think it is also the reason why they decided to make another album this year so quick. Jumpstyle is in, it sells good, so they try to make profit as good as they can. Try to look realistic.

And maybe you are right, you can take the jumpstyle-elements away and the tracks would be just as good. But that is an important point for me: you cannot ignore these elements. Because they are so much present and in the foreground that you can't ignore it. The claps for example. So annoying. And as far as I can hear it in the samples it is so needles. It doesn't help the tracks. It causes that almost every track sounds the same. Like I said in another topic, just that Scooter wanted to say "Hey people, listen, this is Jumpstyle! Got it? Jumpstyle, we are doing Jumpstyle!"

Got my point? Just my opinion.

I think the new album could've done just fine without the overuse of jumpstyle in every song.

It seems that Scooter pushed the jumpstyle elements to the album simply out of spite, just to justify the name of the album.

In almost all the tracks, from what I hear in the samples, the jumpstyle element, (that jumpstylish beats and samples) are simply unnecessary and the tracks could do just as good without forcing jumpstyle on it.

After hearing the samples I felt like I was tired from jumpstyle.

H.P himself said in several interviews that jumpstyle is hot now,so they decided to try it as well,so IMO it makes it commercial.

Also H.P contradicted himself in Hooligan's interview when he said that the key to Scooter success is not following trends.
QUote from the interview "Scooter don’t follow trends - this is the reason, they think, why Scooter are still successful after 13 years."

This album is commercial, maybe the style itself is not as commercial and mainstream, but when Scooter see a hot trend, they jump on it,because when it will become mainstream-Scooter already done their work, and have an album right on top of the mainstream (of electronic music to say the least).

The last albums do have some "lollypop" melodies aimed at young kids, this is the motherload of commercial music IMO.

People! Don't you think they just like Jumpstyle. Jumpstyle sounds very possitive and happy like the majority of the tracks from the first chapter.
