Michael Simon - 2

Whew! You had a hot time in here as I see it on the previous MICHAEL SIMON topic.
However, it´s a pity that nobody wanted to continue discussing Michael Simon.

I was listening to Michael´s mixes on MySpace and YouTube for a couple of days ago and was thinking about him for a while. He has a very good taste of music I think. More correctly, it´s according to my taste so maybe that´s why I like his work so much.

But who is Michael Simon? We know almost nothing about him and Scooter doesn´t want to promote/market him either so it seems. Do you know why?

However, he looks very nice when he´s smiling so it wouldn´t do any harm to see more of a happy and smiling Michael in future …or what do you say?

I like Michael a lot - I think he's a nice guy and fits well with Scooter, although of course as after any change it took me time to get used to Chapter 4 . When I met him he seemed very friendly. :)

If smiling all the time isn't his style thats ok with me - I think he should be himself.

I like the music of the 4th chapter a lot, but not all of Michaels own stuff - a few tracks I like a lot, others not - but I'm not a house fan; but that doesn't matter - its the Scooter stuff I care about and thats still great :D

I thought he was a great DJ at the Club Tour and I look forward to seeing more of him on stage with Scooter next year :)

Michael makes good dance music. I like the mixes he has on MySpace a lot! Is this what is called house? You see I’m not so familiar with musical terms…
(would be nice to have a site with samples from different music styles so I could learn it finally  )

I also like the YouTube video from the Club Tour where H.P´s pointing to Michael and says “this is Michael…Michael knight(?)” or something. Do you know which video I mean? That mix is also very good. Vould be nice to hear more of it.

And here comes a few pictures with Michael where he is himself I think. One of the best Making Of videos I´ve ever seen with Scooter btw.

Yeah, Mike is great, I like him. 8) As said before, he seems shy and smiling is not just his style, and he's not so out-going as the others. But the fourth chapter has sounded great in my ears!
 This is a signature.

On the official website, I would like to see a specific biography on the three members, and going back into the past with previous members, to get a full understand on Scooter themselves. What do you think??? 8)

From the beginning Michael entered Scooter i thought he was a nice guy, but my opinion is only based on youtube video's and the things he did/told on his Myspace...

And yes, i think he's shy and not as extravert as HP or Rick, but that isn't important (to me) , whats important is the music that he makes. And i think what he did already with Scootermusic is fine. I don't know much of his own music :? i should look/listen into that....

I must also admit that i have send him a message on his Myspace once and i didn't expect that he would reply, but he did :)
so thats a + for me... :)

I don't know the man in person, but i think he's nice, thats all i can say .

I am not sure what to think of him. From what i have heard, he's a nice and friendly guy but maybe he does not fit to Scooter as well as previous 3rd members have. For some reason, when i see a picture of the current lineup and look at Michael, i think; "Hm... who is that guy?". I have nothing against Michael of course but there's just something i don't like when i think the band. But maybe i will be more positive about him if, and that's really if, there won't be House so tracks much on the next album. And especially for a single release absolute no when it comes to House.

As i'm writing this i am listening Wicked!-album. Man, this is something. Every track is unique and special. They have the real Scooter power and energy, their signature. I listen the old stuff a lot, especially the 2nd chapter singles. I like the new stuff too but there's just something missing. The spirit... Where did it go? I hope it will be back. The Question Is What Is The Question? is a good start to bring it back.

You know, i am almost crying at the moment. My favorite band since 1996. Funny, i never thought i would write something like this. But don't worry, i am still a fan and will be forever. That will not never change! But Scooter...

GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF AND BRING THE SPIRIT BACK! Less commercial and more unique! 8)

It seems that, in general, Scooter has gone from smiling to trying to look all tough and serious (and then making music with happy high-pitched voices), so maybe it's in his contract to only smile on occasion!
