why that? I know that they a ripp off band, but they have some good tunes, which aren't covered. (like "Rhapsody in E" or "Tonight")

It is only sad, that they have lost the spirit from the past. I listen to Scooter since 1995 (when they released "...and the Beat goes on!" in Ireland) and I was infected by the sound, because it was so great. But since 2003/2004, they lost the good spirit. And that's sad, because I know, that they can make still good, own tunes. But well, I have register me here to talk about Scooter. I know, that the situation is at the moment splitted here, but hey, everybody got his opinion, so why do not sharing them?

@ Hornswoggle:
Its very ok, sharing your's and others opinions here :)
That is what this forum is all about  , the difference is that you say your opinions in a different/civilised way  and others don't.

I think, when you don't like a thing about Scooter, you can say it in here in a normal way, and than there's no problem at all. Some people don't understand that :? .

I, for instance, am more in to the 4th and 3th chapter, because i discovered Scooter last year, but i can imagine that someone who is a fan from the beginning (1994) feels a bit sad or down, because, the songs are not that new nowadays......

I like them (the songs) but some others don't. Well, as HP says in a song " you can't please anyone".....

Are you sure that Rhapsody and Tonight are own tunes? I don't think so. But i just think that you can't blame a ripp off band for doing ripp offs. The thing you can say is that they ripp off more well known tracks the last years, on Back to the heavyweight jam nobody would think that there's a ripp off but even there most things are ripped. Now you hear it after a few seconds, mostly my mum tells me what track it is because she knows the originals from her childhood.

Tonight is, like Forever (keep me running) and Hit The Drum co written by Shahin Moshirian (From Shahin & Simon, Triple S. and the underdog project) and Stephan Browarczyk (from Triple S. and the underdog project). So it's not only Scooter get some help with making these tracks ;) But I think they are original.
