lol the refrain is a cover that's fact. I heard it on some party cds where it was sung in german. Nana nana.

Well... the "I Wanna Be A Hippy" bassline reminds me on the good old rave times, so I don't have problems with it :) But the refrain sounds crap in this recording... it distorts like hell so I don't judge early.
The question is: Where's the jumpstyle in this track??? It's not jumpstyle.

About the fish... it's not a HMITF remake. It's a "Was wollen wir trinken..." remake. I expected the cowbell melody, that would have been better. But anyway, it sounds good. At least this IS a jumpstyle track :)

Reflections from my very first Scooter concert:

Waiting 12 hours to be at the front is something I just can’t do, not even with entertainment so I have missed to “get as close as possible”.
Unfortunately Sandra and I had to stay at the side so we couldn’t even see Michael
The only good thing with this place was that Rick passed by so we could at least shake hands. To meet the guy who’s making one of the best instrumentals on this earth was definitely one of the biggest highlights for me!

The sound wasn’t really good and it was almost impossible to hear H.P´s lyrics so I was a bit disappointed to be honest.
After a very good intro they started with the BTC and it was much better now when H.P. introduced himself as “me myself and I” instead of Fatman Scoop :D But H.P. seemed to be blasted somehow and played in a “business as usual” style until Nessaja where we all got the spirit back and the concert got more power and energy.
Even The Jumping Fish experiment turned out well (I still can’t believe this was a finished track whatever you say guys) but I think it was very appreciated due to the fact that the crowd love to be a part of the show and sing together especially now after 12 hours beer drinking  .
I think even H.P. and Rick had fun when the “chicks” were singing back. I tried to do my very best however :D
Would be nice to see more of this! Or at least get some alternatives to the “döp döp döp” in future.

It was also very nice to meet some of the guys from the Scooter team this morning so I could ask Markus (I think it was) why it’s so difficult to hear H.P´s lyrics on concerts. It has to do with his special mike he said. I just wonder…Is it on purpose?

Now I’m looking forward to join a real in-house concert some day to see/hear if there is any difference… maybe next year in Sweden or Germany.

As regards the new singles – Jumpstyle, Happy Hardcore and Kindergartenmusic people YOU GONNA LOVE IT!

Now, I know, from which Original Tune they stole the Stuff for the Chorus

Mouth & MacNeal - "How do you do" (released: 1971)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pF34Dnbe-c

When I listen to the Original Song, I have the hope again, that they have finally make a good Party Track! But who knows... must wait for a good quality Sample, then I can judge if the new Tune good or suck :P

own creativity level = 0

The Question: Jumpstyle? Scooter just try to do copy Jumpstyle because they think it's selling good because other people did have success before them with it like Jeckyll & Hyde - Freefall ...
And this stolen "how do you do" chorus is extremly embrassing, it sounds like a beer tent band is playing for drunken people.

Jumping Fish: Now they already started to cover their old tracks because they don't have fresh ideas for new tracks anymore?

It's hard to see what happened with Scooter over the years.
When i look back to what Scooter was with Ferris and Axel i get depressed.

Honestly It seems that I am going to like this track very much, although havn't heard much of it. But the 30sec ar very interesting. The refrain, although covered according to rotty, sounds powerfull and fun, especially the Bass is great in the refrain. Could get an amazing partybomb as I predicted :D

Some replies ago someone said who likes Kindergartenmusic and Hapy Hardcore will like this song too. And honestly I like such music f.e. Maria

My first feeling when I herad The Question is that it could be a big party hit - its happy, fast and catchy - it will be interesting to see what everyone thinks when you hear a sample in good quality, not so distorted.

The Jumping Fish - I like it at lot - its very familiar and easy to "sing" to because we all know and love the melody.

Let's hope for a good sample (of both) soon :)

To be honest I was 100% sure it will be a cover again. It just doesn't sound right if after so many years without an own song the guys will just come up with a great fresh ideas and make killer track. Scooter's creativity is gone for sure which is really sad, and making a single in such a short period of time talks for itself. Anyway I won't judge the track yet since I haven't heard all of it, let's at least hope it won't be that bad.
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

Above & Beyond - Alone Tonight
