Where is this Ratty single we were promised this summer? I understand that they are probably busy creating song but we could at least use some news on whats going on. Actually, I'd like to see another song released under the name "3 A.M." too.

But I would have thought they would have at least given us some info on what's going on. A new album was promised this fall so the single from that would be late summer. That leaves little time in between for the Ratty single.

most of us have a sample of new ratty single (probably)

I heard that there will be a "Batman Remix" of Suavemente. I don't know if this are fake informations, but it will be great!

Great like Hyper Hyper 2005, hot remixe of shake that and some super new mixes of Jigga Jigga! :)

I don't care so much about the style of forthcoming single, I only hope it won't be a cover.Scooter is capable of making their own, unique sound without "borrowing" songs of the other artists.

Speaking about style, I'd like to see powerful song, something like F u c k the Millenium or Call me manana is.

It would be nice, but there's not much hope that new single is a own composition.

Quoted

Many of your fans raised his / her voice against the fact that all tracks on Mind The Gap contains samples or melodies from other artists. They ask why don't you create 100% own tracks?

Rick: Well, we are not a rock band. And techno and electronic music, especially our style was always been like a... "collage".

H.P.: Yes, and it's in the tradition of the KLF, which was the first real techno act, that really worked like "puzzled", they connected the songs which are not usual to this kind of music, to techno music. And that was in the beginning, when we started, there was many track we liked, also from other artist such as Elvis Presley...

Yeah, unfortunately it's true.Seems that Scooter fans and Scooter have both different point of view about covers.

[code:1]and it's in the tradition of the KLF[/code:1]

Yes, HP, but you are Scooter, not KLF.Why would Scooter have to follow this tradition?

It's a nonsense statement from H.P. and Rick -Iron-!

I still believe the real reason is they are to lazy to create own ideas and tracks. Or they don't have own ideas...

But the statement it's tradition of KLF and we are not a rock band is a absolute nonsene alibi. :P

In past they proved that they also can do own compositions if they want. But if they want is the problem today I think!

I know.

And fame is what makes them lazy. They earn enough with covers, so why would they need to make their own songs when they can have success with "others" songs without a lot of work?

They think in that way.

This is clearly a candidate for a ban. There is no such thing as super new remixes. We would know that by now, believe me.
