Not bad for beginning! Yes it reminds me on the 80s synth music, but it's good.
However, it sounds a bit monotone, and some reverb FX would make it better.

Anyway, don't let my words bring you down, keep it up! ;)

Definitely 80's synth music, and not a bad start.

But here are some tips:

1.) You need better kick drum sample, very very important. The bass drum goes a long long way for any song.

2.) Melody needs more variation. I would check out this site on chords, scales, and so forth. I use this now when I make any song, it helps out a lot being that I have only been playing piano for a little less than a year.
Piano chords

3.) I would eventually switch to progs like Cubase sx, Flstudio, Reason, or Cakewalk, or Logic if you plan on doing this more...it takes time to fully learn these programs and a lot of experimentation.but it helps a lot. I currently use flstudio and reason, but plan on using cubase sx in the future...and probably pro tools, or logic.

4.) Read up on mixing, mastering, and technical work for producers.

This song needs better synths, and a better music program to arrange the sounds with. But, for your first track, it's a good start. Keep it up man, who knows what the future holds?
Shout-outs go to: SLK, Hard C. Pusher, Soul Train, Dream Guardians, Deepforces, Ic3m4n, Trance-Atlantic, and N.E.O.N. Project. Thank you for your supports and feedback.
