He was Old-fashioned, but he was a good Human, may he rest in Peace...he always was strong enough 2 show his sickness and he always gave all for the people!
I will miss him and i hope that the next Pope is as half as good then he was! :(

I'm sorry that being a good man or a religious man is not enough. It's too easy to be a good man, but that cannot pay our debt to God

Its sad to hear he is gone, I heard it just as it was announced to the public.
He has now gone to his enternal rest and reward for a life well lived, I mean well lived, he was a source of joy, hope, inspiration to so many, young AND old ( Most of the posse here CAN'T remember a time when Pope John Paul II was NOT the pope )

To see him suffer so much in full public view would warm many hearts and it indeed warms mine that even up to the end, people didn't feel isolated from him.

On a personal level, I also happen to live in the same Diocese that is headed by Bishop John Magee, the same person who was secertery to the Pope at the time he was shot. I've spoken to him twice on a personal level during my trip to Lourdes last as a Youth Helper on the Cloyne Diocese's annual pilgramage to Lourdes, just thought I'd let you konw.
