Many original songs are much better than Scooter version (like T-A, Trip To Nowhere, Maria, One (Always Hardcore) and much more). But Scooter also done covers which are better than originals (Liquid Is Liquid, Pulstar, Rebel Yell etc.)

Rebell Yell is better then Billy Idol's original(which is not bad by itself though).
I'm Raving is way better than Mark Kohn's original Walking in Memphis.
My Eyes are dry better than the original,I couldn't even hear the original,i immediately stopped it.
