Authorised / Pirate releases

Is there any way to find out which record labels or in which contries albums are authorised - as a collector I have MTG from a few places, including Singapore, Malayisa, Russia, Ukraine, Tiawan, Hungary and of course the German and International versions.

I do not want to buy pirate copies of course, but there seems to be no way to know for sure which are authorised releases - I bought a MTG CD from eBay last week, which is different to any others I have, and now I have it I am sure it is a pirate :twisted: :twisted: but a very proffessional looking one. Also my Malaysian MTG looks very different to the others - so I am not really sure about this one, it is not like other Malaysian CDS I have - some one must know where the "legal" releases are.

This is a very good question, I have asked it myself often.

I am also not sure about all releases.
In the past I have thought that all releases with bonus tracks, without Japanese are pirate CD's.
Sometimes was very many in eBay with more tracks then on the normal album, most time with cheap cover and without a booklet.

About all these Taiwan and Singapure releases I am also not so sure.

100% sure I am only about German, French, Japanese and Australian releases, from some CD's exist International, UK and USA releases but I did not think from all. I woudl not buy Russain releases in eBay, I only believe they are real if I get them from DJ Hooligan.

Exist a different MTG in Hungary?
This is possible because I have the promocard from there.
Did you know from where it is to get?
Seems Zita can not get it.

Thats a big Problem if u are a Collector, you can never know if this isnt a fake!
There are many professional Pirates with the same Equipment and prof.Designers like in real CD-Factorys!
So, thats the Risk on this Game! :twisted:

Better way to be sure is to know which record copany in every country have license froim Edel to release Scooter release. But it is always not 100% sure.

I.e. in Russia some releases of Les Paradise (TP - So/Use, Soyuz sublabel) also copied by pirates. They have poor print quality & if release contain big booklet pirates don' make it :)
So I buy russian releases only in So/Use shops in Moscow, some shops which sell license CDs in my city, or order them from official e-shops or by my friends in Moscow.
