I think Call On Me is a superb track - much better than Lola's Theme, which also got to No. 1 in the UK, that one was a bit too slow for me!

Dance is death! It's all freakin' r&b these days. I hate r&b, it unites the worst from house and hiphop (actually it evolved from a style called hiphouse; want an example of that?: Jungle Brothers - I'll House you)
And the dance that gets sold is stupid, brainless, commercial trash. It has only one good place: garbage bin!
Sorry, but I really dislike Call on me and Lola's Theme, I disliked them from the first moment I heard them.
Where's the trance? The good trance like in '93-'98...
Even Scooter hardly sells anymore in Belgium :(
Luckily we have still a rather good underground scene here. But it's small, and therefor the cd's are expensive (I don't like downloading. It kills artists)
Look at me,
What have I become?
I'm a piece of everyone,
Following the fashion fads...

The trouble with a lot of house tunes is that each one comes out in the clubs as an instrumental and then someone goes and sticks a vocal on it to shift more copies when it charts - ruining the song in the process. Over the past few years, the only two tunes that are better with vocals IMO are Fragma's Toca Me and Tube 'n' Burger's Straight Ahead.
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

superdrive123: Theres a thing in Google called a translator, use it!

Anyways, my views......

At the beginnig of 2003, I was spoiled for choice in regards to Dance Music, now, as we head into 2005, I'd be VERY lucky to see a Dance CD up in a Music shop in Cork City! There is a shop in my locality that imports Dance CDs and they don't know how grateful I ( and others, I guess ) am to them for doing that!

The world has gone mad, people go out to Niteclubs to energised by the music ( Well, I would as I have no interest in drinking ), but tell me, how the hell are you supposed to energised by RnB!!!??? and at the end of the night fights break out because there was no where else for the energy to go!

I say the amount of racsit crime must have gone up over fights between whites and balcks with the whites complaing that blacks have taken over music!

I also can't helped but noticed that this all came in AFTER September 11th, as if people wanted to slow down because of fear of being attacked???? :? :?

Why do I download Dance from Polish sites? Because THERES F*** ALL IN THE SHOPS FOR ME! Eric Pardyz - House, blerg, House originated from AMERICA! UGH! I HATE HOUSE! I can still remeber a DJ at a niteclub I used to work in who only played House and RnB! It did my head in! >_<

Why do so many people in Cork listening to Pirate Radio stations, because they are the only ones who care enough to play dance! sure, they play RnB too, but dance is a about 90% of what they play! Compare that mainstream; 99% hip hop, pop, etc, 1% Dance ( And thats house I'm talking about! )

That site is right ( I used a translator to understand it ) I think I might just go and spread the word around every fourm I visit!
