well, i'm 20years old

and thats pretty young

but i knew always hardcore from bodylotion

and i discover all the good old techno happyhardcore from 93 untill 97 on this moment

when i was a kid i listen to dj bobo, rednex etc

hehe

If u know that Bodylotion Track then u are good informed!
But i cannot believe how ignorant the most here are...Scooter is an important part of the Techno-Scene but not the only part!

i'm sure that there are many traxx that i have missed

but would like to discover them

yeah and i now too that Scooter is only a important part of the techno scene or whatever

and now, the most music is cr*p!! really, like Special d , boozywoozy...

U only know commercial Techno, right?
Do u know Aphex Twin?
or earth-nation?
or Dritte Raum?

Dont just listen 2 MTV and Radio...go to the vynil Store and in the Clubs...there is good Techno music,too!

I'm readin' the forum since some months, and i thought it would be good to write some posts here

I've listen to the Stacatto - Always hardcore, and it isn't a bad song

I could imagine this with some Scooter stuff, and with HP-s lirycs

And if i read it good not only my opinion is that it would be good on 180 bpm's and with some HHC stuff

Omg... when I was 13, I was totally hooked by DJ BoBo's music, and I still treasure it even more than Scooter, excellent eurodance.

hmm.. if "The Pusher", "New Years Day", and many others aren't techno, then nothing is.

Scooter NEVER played techno, Scooter don't have techno track.
Scooter have created Dance, Trance, Dutch Trance, rave, hardcore, happy hardcore, oldskool rave, NRG Trance, trancecore and many others track, but NO TECHNO! Scooter and other artists like Special D, Brooklyn Bounce etc, are named "TECHNO" in VIVA and magazines because it's "good name". So remember - Scooter never played techno!

Techno ist der Oberbegriff, zumeindest war er das mal, für alles, was elektronische Tanzmusik ausmacht!
Heute bedeutet er eine bestimmt, harte Art von dieser Musik
Also, heute würden man scooter nicht als Techno bezeichnen
aber früher galten sie als TEHNO-ACT!
Ich habe noch die Werbung bei VIVA im Kopf, die retse Techno Ballade aller Zeiten ab Montag im Handel
Break it up!

how do you define techno then? I always thought it is loud and fast (not necessarily) beats and bass, and entirely made with machines.

And I think the term for techno can be understood in a wider scope, not necessarily one exact kind of genre.
