Fårikål is easy to make, although I haven't tried making it myself. It's cabbage and lamb or sheep meat put in layers in a casserole and cooked together with whole black pepper corns, whole corns to make it easy to pick out of the dish before you eat it.
And you boil potatoes beside, and eat it together. It's a really tasty dish

Of course, if one of the ingredients are outside what you like, it's not ideal, but otherwise it's worth trying.

Well, I like all ingredients.

The most important thing is how the food/dish is prepared. You can make fantastic and delicious food/dish out of nothing, while on the other side, you can make a complete s.h.i.t. out from many good ingredients. So, the way it's cooked/prepared is the most important. You need to be skilled to prepare something tasty.

Btw, could you give me some picture of that dish from Norway?
