The question is why H.P. is sitting in a stupid casting show and not working in the studio on the new album!
they are working (i suppose) but not 24/24 like maniacs to please fanatics who would consider as normal a release at every 7 months. Also, before u post, read what others said, for example Mr hyper posted a few facts....
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

you have to give the guys credit here, for the first time ever they seem to be working on a album while working on other projects, no word from rick, but if he is not with his family, he is likely doing what he does best, working in the studio, he could be likely working on ideas they already have from December till before or around the tour, michael is working on his dj work, i guess he is also doing his part on the album, getting inspiration from the club scene, like the past, and hp, from what he has on facebook, looks like he is on holiday and doing the x factor too, and he has been back to the studio i assume looking at the latest facebook pic, plus the football OAH, so he could also be spitting lyrics out while he is their, i also imagine he is taking lyric ideas down while he is about,

so i think it is in motion, and i think they are gonna want to hit the x factor with a new single later this year, so dont worry so much yet.

When they have this chance, with HP on the X-Factor, it would be wise to use it to present a new single and get it out and heard by all the people who watch the show.

I'm sure this (like all the other stuff) isn't going to be the end of Scooter people anticipate... Theirs always been little side projects here and there and theirs things a lot of people don't know about for e.g. HP & Jens have a management company with some other people... It's well known they guys have a big input with Kontor and I'm sure HP & probably Rick have at least shares in Kontor. Why can't Michael work on his label and his solo stuff without people panicking? It's seperate to Scooter and his own project - it must be amazing to be in a position to run a label and release music he believes in and not have to worry about commercial success! Along with everything else I'm sure XFactor is just another interesting project for the guys and why not!!!

And really I doubt they're looking for another career after Scooter, have a rough guess at album/ single sales, ticket sales, other bookings, merchandise, appearances, web stuff, advertising and promotions... As we would say in the UK "They are minted!" :D :D

Side projects are good, but not the producing of the pop act, imo. But let's see... maybe it will never happen anyway :)

Indeed, I think the chances are greater for their NOT doing it. As said, there are bound to be producers that would be better suited for the task, and the winner will know this too. Scooter are good but they are known for their mad songs. The winner will probably choose some hip, young producer who can make plastic love songs and fast.

And yeah, I think we'll see a new album this year. Still 4 and a half months left. Does anyone know when the X-Factor is ending? I think it won't be long before they're back with a new single.
 This is a signature.

the X FACTOR projet is a must be for SCOOTER at this time.
to do some promotion.
scooter is no more on TV the last time.
no VIVA.

hope 2014 for a big EuropeanTOUR!

agree, without viva scooter have lost alot of promo, i guess the x factor is hopefully a way to bring back some success, as we know we may see the new single here too,

regarding 2014 tours, well all i can say is that it will be 20 years of scooter, so expect something big, and it will be four years since the last dvd release, so like the tradition goes we could also see another live release then too.

Part of me thinks it is great HP wants to help other artists find success. However he also should work to improve his own band as well. The last albums, as we all know, weren't as big of hits as we hoped they would be. So I think once Scooter has recovered a bit from the recent downfall, they should absolutely do more diverse projects. They have to pass on their legacy somehow!

And those X-factor pics of HP are going to be the new background pics of my laptop..

well the last album didnt go down so well, lasted only 4 weeks in the german chart, but it did chart at 15

however UTROTT charted at 2 and lasted 12 weeks earning gold

and JAOTW finally charted at 9 and lasted a staggering 49 weeks earning double platinum and gold.

but the singles are another story, scooter havent earned gold since shake that, despite some hits charting well.

#15 was an ok position, but it fell out quickly and didn't achieve anything. But it's ok when it had almost no promo at all.

yeah with promo it would have done better, and if it had better euro promo too, it could have gained maybe anotther impala award for euro sales, i have to say that they never got silver on impala on the recent list, so it means it sold less than 20.000, but i find that hard to believe, IMO it was more like just short of 100.000 for europe, unless scooter are not with impala anymore.

Alos on Vox there are often some long adds with H.P. to make people aware of the X-Factor show, and the most interesting thing, in the background of those adds, or at the end, I'm not 100% sure, one can hear there some new synth melody that in my opinion was made by Scooter for the add. Maybe a part of the possible new single even?
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D
