Cardiff show, does anyone know anything??

I noticed on the forum last week some members were talking about a possible Cardiff show in the UK sometime? Anyone know anything??
Would be brilliant to have them back again in the UK, I'm sure where ever they went next it would sell out!

It'll never happen but expect London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow on the next tour.
Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.

Bad news I'm afraid guys, we have been trying (as many of you know) to book scooter for cardiff, however, they don't seem interested. No nreplys to our calls or emails. Very disappointing...

We are not sure if this is scooters booking agents, management or the band them self.

We will try again in the future, as we spoke to M Simon and he said he was up for it, so we cannot understand whats going on :/ ?(

Um, who did you contact exactly?

George from Boese is in charge of bookings and he always replies very quick.

shame really looking forward to a scooter return, maybe scooter have not replied because simply they are busy with the new album, or they are not ready for a tour yet

Do you seriously think they decide if they want to go play or not? :)

wel im sure the band and management come to some sort of agreement, and as i said scooter aint really touring now, just local festivals, i assume when the new album is out maybe 2013 its possible, but i think true to scooter it will be every 2 years, so 2014 is more likely

A gig in Cardiff isn't a tour, and they are doing one-off gigs ( for example Oslo)
It would be interesting to know who has been contacted about this

I really hope you're accidentally trying to contact old phone numbers and stuff, as otherwise their management is acting extremely unprofessionally in not even replying. As for Scooter itself, can't see any reason why they wouldn't come -- they've gone to so many other smaller places such as club venues in Finland.

i suppose its easier to travel Europe with out crossing the Channel, but i agree one show would not hurt to come to the UK again, maybe they are waiting for the right time, new album then some shows or something, also a lot of the show now have been festivals and not scooter shows, i suppose its cheaper and easier to go to them shows then a one of scooter show, i also agree that a tour manager is not so professional if they cant even reply.

I would imagine crossing the channel with equipment and stuff would be better if they had a tour in the UK. Doing it for 1 show doesn't sound like it's worth it, compared to a tour.

agree, i think when scooter plan their next tour, which in tradition every 2 years so 2014, which is also the 20th year of scooter, then i think we will see scooter

No idea -- they're flying everywhere in any case, and while the tour crew is building the stage HP & co are sipping cold drinks and listening to music in the backstage. :D And they haven't had full stage in smaller places anyway, plus it's also possible (and probably likely, outside Germany) for the booker to get the sound system up. Interesting, at any rate -- could it be that they're focusing on the album so much that they're not wanting to do even one extra show?

likely, as i said, i think scooter are gonna wait for new material, and possibly the net tour which will be 2014
