In honor of the London Games, I thought there should be a thread were people can cheer for their country, post results, share stories etc.

I will be cheering for many countries but my heart belongs to two: GO TEAM USA and GO TEAM GERMANY!

The Men's Cycling Road Race ended as follows: Gold went to Kazakhstan, Silver to Columbia, and Bronze went to Norway.
Which was such a surprise for everyone because he was far behind the long time leader from Switzerland! However right in the last quarter of the race the rider from Switzerland crashed into the gates at a turn, giving the Kazakhstan rider his shot at victory.

Every exciting beginning for sure.
