So its been out for a while now and its getting quite here.
As the new album is now in process, well it seems so from what we have herd over time, or it is at least near by, I thought we should look back and review our views on this album now.

also a poll to answer too.

So here is my review of how i feel about TBMU now.

C.I.F.L. - Like Before i still find this intro far to short really, but it does give the listener a feel as to what is to come.

David Doesn't Eat - Still like this track even now, it has a good feel to it and it was well made.

Dreams - This track grew on me over time, love the bass on this one and it has a fast paced happy feel, only the HPV is a down point to me.

Beyond The Invisible - Love this one alot, it was great live too, the HPV is a little over the top but it has a good meaning in this tune, nice bass too.

Sugary Dip - after hearing it live i kinda lost love for this one, but it is a good track on the album, still one of the best on this album too.

It's A Biz - with the single edit out, i never really listen to this one now, the single was a great version, and well made, the album had a good feel to it and is still one of the high points on the album.

C'est Bleu - this remains the best version to me of all the versions out now, but it did like the dubstep part on the single a lot, like before this style was old to me after the jump era, but today it has a lot of play, so i guess i like it more now.

8:15 To Nowhere - never really listen to this one now, but i do like the vibe of this one.

Close Your Eyes - still the best on the album, but scooter have done better trance anthems in the past, like the chaser and like hypa said, however great female parts.

The Only One - got old after its early release, but it isn't a bad tune, love the extended version since the tour played it, so i like it more now.

Sex N Drugs N Rock N Roll - too much like other artists, so it became old for me.

Copyright - love this one, wicked bass and synths, love the way it was done too, with 2 mc's, but we still never knew who it was.

Bang Bang Club - love the vibe to this one, especially the start part, but after hearing it live, i kinda got bored of this one, but it is a solid track on this album.

Summer Dream - take away the HPV and this is a solid hardstyle tune, reminds me of the old time a bit, but the HPV is far to annoying.

Mashuaia - as usual a typical trance exit on the album, this is to me the only track that make this album sound scooter like, and it is a fantastic track.

Friends Turbo - never really liked this one much, much like the original.

so here it is, awaiting more from the posse

Not gonna lie, absolutely love this album, like all the tracks on it, David Doesn't eat is one of my favourites, Not as bad as all the reviews in my opinion, have to admit some of these songs do sound better live, beyond the invisible and sugary dip was amazing on the big mash up tour, i could listen to this album all the time, the only problem with the album is you dont get the proper version of It's A Biz, but its still not bad.

Personally in my opinion one of my favourite Scooter Albums

(Probably Will be one of the only people who will say that as eveyone seems to hate this album)

My feelings haven't really changed much, but I do tend to skip some tracks when I have my playlist on shuffle. Guess as I said before there are too many tracks with female vocals for me, but also some great tracks :)

I do overall like this album, but it's not one of my favourite Scooter albums

True! We all have our favorites and songs that we like less. And the songs that we like even less. And the songs that some of us just want to forget.

I think most people that have the same attitude as I regarding the last album. Is that TBMU was WAY TOO FORCED AND FAST PRODUCED. Scooter wanted to enter the mainstream wave so badly. So the real Scooter spirit disappeared in production. Yes, there are traces of Scooter's energy here and there. But styles like Dubstep & Electro-House is not for Scooter. The real Scooter energy is lost with these two styles.

And BTW. Just because you're a fan. Does not mean that you have to like everything they release!

Then why do you say "fans" and why is it hard to believe?

For me, it has couple of nice tracks (Dreams, Beyond The Invisible, Sugary Dip and partly David Doesn't Eat and Summer Dream), but there's no 1 track that blew me away (although I cant remember when is the last time that some Scooter track blew me away) and again its full of obvious covers and rip offs. Its not a bad album and I support experimenting, but after 2 years of waiting I (and most of the fans) expected much more, although it's much better then JAOTW and probably UTROTT.

The fact is that this album was a big fail for Scooter, not just financially but you get the feeling that they dont know what to do anymore and they are trying so hard to do anything to stay on the scene. You can almost smell the desperation.
So, in conclusion, they need something HUGE now, they need to sit and think this through very good, what is the next step, in order to reclaim at least the part of their former glory, because TBMU and all it's singles were a massive fail and sidetrack, so to say.

I still think the album is shite. Bang Bang Club has grown on me as it fitted in very well on the tour set list between UP and ST (Much prefer the "Live" version to the one on the album). I love Friends Turbo but everything else pretty much sucks. CB and TOO are OK, nothing more than that. In fact, CB just strikes me as something which wasn't good enough for UTROTT but they managed to squeeze it on this album. As far as I'm concerned the rest of the album completely sucks and I truly hope that they never produce anything this poor and lame again. I am certainly in no hurry to play it again.

Everybody has that moment in their lives which they are embarrassed about and would rather forget and move on from quickly. I'm hoping that this god awful excuse for an album is Scooters...
Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.

Time hasn't improved my liking of it, it has actually made me like it less -- when it was new I of course listened to it more willingly but now when I've had the time to hear the other albums and compare the sound, I think TBMU doesn't sound as good, the sound is not fully "Scooter" and the quality either isn't as good as it could be -- compared to their other work they can do better. I mostly hear some four songs of fifteen...

1. C.I.F.L Generic intro really, doesn't matter.

2 David Doesn't Eat Kind of the standard change of style for the first single off the album and it's listenable but not a classic.

3 Dreams Would have been much more special had the Pet Shop Boys obliged to sing the chorus, but they didn't so it's generic but listenable.

4 Beyond The Invisible A true Scooter album banger. I love the sampling, it's one of the finest tracks on the album and will live on for years for me.

5 Sugary Dip It's just fantastic. Another Scooter album banger and will live on for years to come.

6 It's a Biz I don't like the album version. It's terrible. But the single version I love and will go down in my top 10 Scooter singles of all time.

7 C'Est Bleu It's my favourite from the album but I was disappointed with the extended version of the single, which is what I listen to.

8 8:15 to nowhere Not brilliant, and forgetable.

9 Close Your Eyes Blends into the background for me to be fair.

10 The Only One It's just a bit odd and a very non-descript single. Disappointing effort really, lacks a spark.

11 Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll Terrible and a word I am not allowed to use, basically.

12 Copyright Disappointing, very bland and a closer.

13 Bang Bang Club Proper, complete BANGER. Smash it out LOUD and often.

14 Summer Dream Another genuine classic album dinger. Quality track, just so happy so effortlessly.

15 Mashuaia Classically trancey but not as banging as a lot of other album closers.

16 Friends Turbo Why, just why?! Pretty poor, but I would have liked an extended version to enjoy.

I like the album. I like Scooter.

I had high hopes that this album would be very good in the beginning, all the samples sounded good, catchy and interesting. Then I got the album and I wasn't disappointed but not thrilled. Some of the new sounds/styles just weren't produced well. However certain tracks were great. My individual track ratings go like this:

C.I.F.L- It honestly sounds like a sound check for a concert that they thought sounded cool.

David Doesn't Eat- Okay, not my favorite. The voice modulation for HP just seemed to come out weird. However I liked the beat and sampling. The boys attempted to make a part of this track dubstyle and it was a poor attempt. But it was their first attempt so I can forgive them.

Dreams- Some parts are great, like the chorus. But at other times it sounds like a bunch of random sounds played over hp's voice.

Beyond the Invisible- A very pleasant surprise, a much better dubstyle track! I liked hearing hp's natural rapping voice, he sounded like he had some conviction in his words. The hpv voices were eerie but beautiful, creating a very interesting dichotomy.

Sugary Dip- A very happy tune with a nice display of hp's rapping. Although a part of me thought the constant voice modulation at certain points was a bit over the top.

It's a Biz- I liked the tour version much better, but this song is another favorite. The verses are lack luster, but the chorus is banging! I can picture dirty dancing in a very dark club to this. And doing another "activity "in a dark place to this too.. ;) :P The mixing of the sample was top notch for sure, just a simple and pure hip shaking beat.

C'est Blu- It was one of best tracks to me because the guys managed to blend the classic french tune with their style so well, just like they did in Ti Sento. They took what was old and organic and made it new and shiny. Plus I think her voice is fantastic to begin with. It also sounded closer to the jump style I feel the guys used to produce.

8:15 to Nowhere: Eh...................it's nice background noise if I am doing something. There just isnt enough interesting material to keep my attention.

Close Your Eyes- again....eh. Generic at best.

The Only One- LOVED IT! Speaker shaking, bass thumping goodness! It was a refreshing return to their classic formula: HP, crowd sample, phv's and a nicely mixed club sounding sample. I was happy this song came along after the last two, I was starting to lose hope. lol

Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll- The title had me excited for the song. I was expecting a bad ass, "kick down your door" club anthem. However, this wasn't the case. An interesting song....not bad, but not what I am used to with them. However an interesting musical and style experiment none the less.

Copyright- First off, Who the h*ll is the dude rapping with HP?!? He is the least believable rapper I have ever heard next to Vanilla Ice. Please guys, don't ever make a track like this again.

Bang Bang club- This was an unexpected hit for me. It took me a while, but then it grew on me. This song is an excellent club track, just mellow enough to be played casually, but exciting enough to be blasted at high volumes. I can tell the boys put an effort into making this track. The inspiration for this song, was a club in New York City and I can totally envision New York's swinging night life when I hear this!

Summer's Dream- Well.....the "lalalalalala" was a cute but slightly annoying at times. But other than that I can not complain.

Mashuaia- I am not a huge fan of trance as a music genre. So this is not one of my favs.

Friends Turbo- Ah yes this track. The movie version was funny and very entertaining. However without the movie lines all its charm is lost on me.

Overall, not my favorite but still wouldn't call it the worst album ever. I would give a 7/10

eyeball paul and cold shadow, i didnt mean it in a bad way, but i guess i think many fans like scooters work regardless, but i guess we all have hate, ans this album has had the most, in all i didnt find it so bad, but it is far from scooter too,

but i recall scooter spent a lot of time on this album, 2 years in all, about a year was spent trying new things and getting ideas, the other year was spent on production, and final stages was the dubstep process, i recall scooter saying they wanted to do electro house and go a little commercial in so many words, but later admitted they didnt like it. that proberly explains the late production on dubstep.

but after the recent facebook post from scooter, they seem to want to go back to a harder style, well it looks like it to me, id expect them to move right away from this era in the opposite direction

Still can't listen the first four tracks at all (incl. intro). Few good tunes (Mashuaia, Summer Dream etc.) but it's still their worst album by far! I was listening Wicked! album yesterday while driving and it beats this one so easily. 1996!? :D

1. C.I.F.L Generic Intro. Not my favorite.

2 David Doesn't Eat Still a banging tune. Like to listen to it. Love the Dubstep elements in it.

3 Dreams not good not bad. Bass drum sounds typical happy hardcore like and this kind of bass drum ist not my favorite.

4 Beyond The Invisible Best track on album! Love this one. The idea with the HPV - Battle is great and works great. Dubstep elements are superb!

5 Sugary Dip It's A good track. Fell in love with the HPV (have you ever been happ py py py py py...)

6 It's a Biz seconde favorite of the album. Banging track with an f+++++g awesome bassdrum. Lyrics are brilliant, not to talk about the superb refrain with dubstep elements.

7 C'Est Bleu This is not a good track. Reminds me to much of UTROTT. Seems to be a track originally produced for UTROTT.

8 8:15 to nowhere except some small parts i dont like this track at all. Makes me depressive, really.

9 Close Your Eyes Bad track. 0 8 15 production. Just an album filler.

10 The Only One Kind of like it but i have the feeling something is missing. All in all a good track.

11 Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll Great bassdrum, brilliant Dubstep elements as well as great lyrics except the refrain lyrics. they are shitty.

12 Copyright Not too bad but not good as well.

13 Bang Bang Club. Dont like it

14 Summer Dream Awfull and bad. Thats it.

15 Mashuaia As boring as michael itself.
