For my personal taste, I have to say that if this is the kind of music Michael wants to make, he can as well drop it.
It's too boring and lifeless to qualify as music.

And Avantguarde as third member? Seriously? That really wouldn't work he has a totally different image and even if you half followed what he's doing he's nothing like Scooter! The only reason at all he would join, I imagine, would be for the money but I'm sure he wouldn't and he's got a lot of his own stuff to look forward to and work on!

Different Image? He's doing nothing like Scooter? So the same like with Michael! It seems he only did get into Scooter because Thele did speak to him as friend to do it because they didn't find a new member. And of course because the money. For sure not because he is in love with commercial hands up music. I think they just needed a new member for stage even if they did know that Michael is not a good producer for the style of Scooter. But i have to say i like Avantgarde productions much more like Simon productions. Even if this genre is not my favorite.

If it's the case that Michael isn't more than a person to fill the 3rd member position, why didn't they keep Jay then?
Would have been better to keep a good friend than getting a new member only to fill the position.

Avantgarde will never be the third member, he's too young, he was a little kid when the guys started Scooter, and wasn't even born when the guys started listening to music and going to clubs. There's too wide a generation gap and he wouldn't fit the band's image nor dynamics. My $0.02.

It was a joke, DUH!!!!!!! :wacko: And why is that so impossible? As with the 4 years thing with the past third members. Why can't THIS "rule" with a comeback of a old 3rd member be broken too? I do not think such things is written in stone dude.

It's stupid to call Avantgarde noob only because he is still a youngster. His mixes are more powerful like Michaels. So if he's a noob why Avantgarde did The Only One Clubmix and not Michael? Maybe you should ask Rick! ;)

I'm sure it probably helped Michael knowing Thele as always in life it's "who you know" but I'm sure theirs more than that goes into the selection of the third member. I'm certain it's not a vacancy Scooter would struggle to fill - it's like Jay said in that interview, any artist wants to be heard and stand on a huge stage etc... Scooter can offer that 'Rockstar' lifestyle!
I think, like it or not, Michael's good for Scooter. Personally my favourite third member is Axel but that's mainly because he was in the band when I discovered them. Michael's image, age, looks, production skills fit. He fits in all of the pictures, he looks right on stage and he comes across as a great guy!
Anyone who thinks the third member does nothing, listen through the chapters - you can hear a big difference!

Finally to say Avantgarde doesn't have talent or is a n0000b says more about the person saying it LOL! Course he's young but his productions are tight and his ideas/ technical knowledge is spot on. Then again if he's learned a lot from Rick that says a lot!

I think he doesn't leave! They are working at the studio now and they have a lot of ideas at the moment!
On Facebook they said that the new stuff is 'excellent' and 'ass-kicking' and they work on their own machines.
So I think that Micheal won't leave.And I hope it ;)

lol this nonsense we hear everytime this will be the greatest Scooter album ever. Massive tracks and ideas. We are working hard in studio. And then it's just a piece of very cheap quick made work at the end. We should not believe in such megalomania promotion before we did hear anything.
