3. Where was the stage set up from Germany? We were missing the great entrance of HP on the video screen and other bits displayed on it like Status Quo?

The venue and stage was a lot smaller than the gigs played in Germany, they may not have had the equipment/facilities/room at the Forum for the big video screen from the latest tour. Plus, considering the guys organised and funded the gig themselves as a tester, I thought they did a great job!

4. The show was much shorter than the German tour gigs. Maybe 1/2 hour shorter. Also where did all the recent album tracks go? Some of us really like Scooter's new stuff too and they just left it out largely.

Some of us really do like the new tracks, however, I'd imagine a fair amount of fans who went to the gig have never heard the recent album as it's never been promoted in the UK.

I personally thought it was a great way to drum up interest in them again for the fans who like them but haven't really followed them up to present date. Hopefully it'll result in more album sales here through downloads then maybe we'll get some actual releases in the UK again and with that, more and bigger concerts!

I agree with Emma - this was a small venue, the stage area was not big enough for all the stuff they used on the German tour, also it might have been expensive to bring it all over and get it set up for a one off small concert.

I think the track list was right for this gig, a lot of people there hadn't seen them live before, and playing their hits was a good thing for this gig :) I can imagine they selected the tracklist so that most of the audience would know them; there was a good mixture from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Chapters

It was a great night and show and I think scooter played a great show, the whole venue was on fire and everyone knew most of the words, I really hope they come back again soon, didn't I see that scooter made a deal and cardiff could be on the cards.

What an amazing night, loved every second of it!!
I was so happy when they did the Move Your Ass hardstyle version :D
The only thing i was unhappy about was the lack of merch, but i did appreciate the Scooter flyers that were scattered on the seats and took one home as the perfect souvenir :)

Just been having a look at a couple of the videos I recorded on Saturday night. Thought this one was rather good so put it onto Youtube. :) It came out quite well considering it was captured on my phone!

Same here Prouders, I was hoping to get a few bits there. I'll just have to go to another concert and see if they have any merch there, oh the horror! Lol.

Yes, welcome chrisjhack, it's great to see so many new members in the last few days :)
I was also hoping for merchandising, I still don't have a tour shirt, as Berlin were sold out, and I want a new wristband as I can't find mine and suspect it has been eaten by one of my dogs!

It is indeed great to see so many new members on the forum as a result of the forum, and also that pretty much everyone seemed to have such a good time. I am now eagerly awaiting news of this Cardiff concert! :D

Was a chap selling wristbands to the queueing masses outside for £2 a pop..

Unfortunately he dropped a score, which the bloke behind me gleefully pocketed!

Could have done with a t-shirt though, but I guess I have my ticket stub, which is reward enough.

Just going home now after spending time at my friends house, I too am waiting for the cardiff news, I live near their so I know the place well, so im your man if ya need info. The night itself was amazing, it was my first scooter concert after all the years and is not gonna be the last. I had a mission getting to london, and we passed the hotel about 10 times thanks to a massive tree :-). When we went to get a tube to the venue a nice couple gave us their day tickets so that was cool, we had a few beers in a pub over the road and then qued for 30 mins, i'm not sure if I met anyone from here but I did speak to a few people including 2 nice girls from slovakia :$. The warm up was really good I thought, got the place ready. Then scooter came on, what can I pay that everyone hasn't already said, it was amazing, the lights and pyro where top class and the set list was well picked and so different from what I expected, and i'm so pleased i'm raving was played. We then left after the show and grabbed so food and went back to the hotel. The best part is the fact the could be coming back again soon. It was simply the best and I hope they come back again soon.

I am back as well, after an amazing weekend. There is so much to say, I don't even know where to start...Thank you to Scooter for bringing the energy to the place, thank you to everyone I met, most of you are practically family to me. Thank you Dave for your hospitality, and for the good company of Dave and Bjarke on sunday being hungover and watching Friends Turbo on DVD. :D And yeh thank you kebab man for letting us keep the party going for one more hour in your kebab shop. :D Good music, good friends, lots of energy before, under and after the concert. Did lots of shopping... :whistling: All in all a perfect weekend.

Thankyou! It's great to be here! :D

My arms and legs are still aching from all the raving on Saturday night. So, so worth it though. I will never forget my first Scooter gig!

Here's hoping the Cardiff gig comes to fruition. It's more round my neck of the woods. Would be interesting to see if they go for a bigger venue next time.
