People who have seen Scooter already and know about their gigs, I need help!

Can anyone please tell me, does Scooter use extremely flashing lights (meaning mostly strobe ones) at their gigs? :S I'm going to my first-ever Scooter gig this weekend in London, and just realized this is something I have to be aware of! I'm not worried about average concert lightning, but constant strobe lights are probably a bit too much for me, as I've had epilepsy and still have the medication, even though haven't had a fit for +10 years X(

All experiences and answers are very appreciated, thank you and hopefully see there :thumbsup:

Usually, yes. And they had 2 very "Strobey" sections during the recent tour in Germany. However, it will all depend on what the venue have in place as they will not be bringing all of the usual lighting across with them, maybe a few pieces but not the whole lot. I'd recommend phoning the venue and asking, they should be well briefed on it.

Yes, I agree, the venue should be able to advise you

I'm with these guys check it out, even in small venues scooter use lots of tech. By the way, london will be my first too

But if you have a problem so you can make yourself even to the edge.

Sorry to say that, but I wouldn't recommend attending the show to people with possible outcome of epileptic symptoms. Their light gear is very strong, and the strobes are usually blinding. Even if they don't use the throughout the whole show, I wouldn't risk it. If you go, you should stay at the back lines.
