Album Intro's

Hi All,

Just wondering what your general feelings are on Scooter's album intro's? Some albums have them and some don't, although I don't feel those albums which have no intro are missing anything.

A couple of favourites of mine are the Wicked Introduction and Lights Out from WGTLLN.

Personally, I love the suspense an intro gives, you've waited to hear the album with the new tracks and the intro just makes you wait that little bit longer but builds you up to it.

So, the question is... Do intro's float your boat or could you live without them?

Emma :)

When waiting for a coming release, I am always eager to hear a new intro. I like Stealth, Horny in Jericho and Ignition. Although all the intros are nice? but I like these three.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

I love intros when they're made properly. I have a few favorites as well.

- Last Warning
- MC's Missing
- Ignition
- Lights Out - the Excess All Areas version is great
- Horny In Jericho

When it comes to tour/concert intros, I think the TBMU Tour intro is the best.

Album intros:
Lights Out, Horny In Jericho, Stealth
C.I.F.L. could have been great if it was longer, and there could be something else instead of what I hear in the start.

Concert intros:
that intro on the Live In Berlin DVD. I know it wasn't even played, it was just put on the DVD. But it's awesome as it is.
Inferno intro
TBMU intro
Feel the energy inside!

album:
I really like it when intros blend perfectly with the song after. Ignition is still the king when it comes to this, thoughI like the sounds of Lights Out, too.

tour:
For me the UTROTT opening (stealth) was awesome, but it's a pity they had to remove the halloween theme for the dvd release (the same happened to Live in Berlin) :S

intro's are the best, they have the first note on what is to follow, some awesome tunes,

for me all the albums have intros, the very start of different reality and the Scottish tune at the start of LMBYV, those for me are the intros on the first 2 albums

my favourites are wicked intro, keyser soze, light out

Intro’s work well live on stage building up the atmosphere, and I think they work well on albums if it blends into the next song, but do not like them when stuck at the start of an album with a break to next song seems pointless.

Lights Out, Habibi Halua and Last Warning are the best intros for me :) They are extremely powerful when played live.

I would not lose sleep if my scooter album didn't have a intro, but it is a nice novelty to have one, the anticipation for the album to start grows the longer the intro goes on.
my Favourites are
light out- WGTLLN
Wicked - Wicked
Ignition- TSTE
25/06/11 - Imtech arena, Hamburg - The Stadium Techno Inferno
06/04/12 - O2 World, Berlin - Big Mash Up
