I want to say, if weren't JAOTW & UTROTT albums - TBMU album will be full of the new styles. Anyway this album is very good!
And I really love scooter's dubstep! :)
I'm scooter fan since how much is the fish.

I like about half of the album and strangely enough I prefer the dubstep/drum'n'bass tracks over songs like Close Your Eyes or Summer Dream.

Another Brighton fan!

It's a quality album. I sent an e-mail to Paul Samrah requesting/suggesting he blast out Dreams... Sadly, I got no reply. :whistling:

I like the album "The Big Mash Up". It contains different styles, something which we don't have on "Jumping All Over The World" or "Under The Radar Over The Top". Instead of only Jumpstyle or Hardstyle, we got Dubstep, Electronic House and a bit the usual Scooter style. Except the usual Scooter style, the other genres are new for the band and their fans. That's maybe the reason why many of them don't like the album. It's a bit strange because we had some experimental albums in the past too (Sheffield, We Bring The Noise!). But I guess it's because Scooter used Electronic House which "doesn't give the posse the power". And Dubstep, well it seems like it's too new for the most.

My favorite tracks: "Beyond The Invisible", "Sugary Dip", "It's A Biz", "Close Your Eyes" and "Bang Bang Club".

yeah maybe that is the reason, i think thats the reason i like it a lot more, because of the different styles, its good to hear different things now and then, even though Scooters usual style is fantastic, these new styles are brilliant, :)

My personal ranking:
TBMU:
Very good: David doesn't eat, C'est bleu (2)
Good: The only one, Close your eyes, It's A Biz, Summerdream, Bang Bang Club, 08:15 to Nowhere, Mashuaia, Copyright, Dreams, Sugary Dip (10) [C'est bleu - single version], [It's A Biz - single version]
Average: Sex and drugs and rock'n'roll, Beyond the Invisible (2)

TSTE (in comparison:)
Very good: Weekend!, Like Hypa said, Soultrain (3) [Maria - single version], [The Night - single version]
Good: Roll Baby Roll, The Night (album version!), Maria (album version!), Level One, Liquid is liqiud, Take A Break, A little bit too fast (7)
Average: Pulstar (1)

So TBMU is doesn't match TSTE in quality, but it matches it in quantity. But: The singles versions from TSTE-releases were all clearly better than those of TMBU-releases.

Personally i think TBMU beats TSTE, dunno why but if i had to listen to just one of those album it would be the big mash up, even though Roll Baby Roll is one of my favourite scooter tracks altogether i think the better tracks overall are on TBMU, but thats just my overal opinion :)

yeah, still has nothing on the second chapter stuff, but i have to sat TBMU is a well produced album and a welcome change from the jumpstyle era, i still dont understand how it failed so much in the charts, maybe the change was too much for some

I love the big mash up.

The albums from the first and second chapter were even more experimental than "TBMU".
Look at tracks like "Tonight", "So what cha want", "Well done, Peter", "Kashmir", "Sex dwarf", "Space Cowboy" etc. - they are more diifferent from the typical Scooter style as tracks like "Copyright", "Sex and drugs and rock'n'roll" or "It's A Biz". ;)

hey folks,

im a since many many years scooterfan and i must say that for me TBMU is the most worse album ever. ok, i like sugary dip, cest bleu, summerdream and i love the only one(cant understand why this tune didnt rocks the charts that much). also friends turbo was for me a good sign for the right way of scooter, but it failed.

no, this album is not real good for me, hope for the next to get faster harder scooter. PLEASE NO MORE DUBSHIT!!!!!!!!the most boring style of music, which brings NO energy and spirit. i could sleep when i hear this.

yes i agree. i just watched the live in hamburg dvd from utrott tour and i compared the atmosphere to the big mash up tour. this f*cking dubstep just kills the party atmosphere because noone wants to hear something like this from scooter
