Expensive postage to Czech

Hi,
Why there is soo expensive postage to Czech Rep.? It's next to Germany and the price is 16 Euros? So if I wanna buy a T-shirt for 25 Euro I must pay 16 Euro postage?

It looks like even the postage within germany is 13 euros, which is expensive as sh!t...
They should really consider changing this...

It's really sh1t expensive.

Is it amazon.de or postage in general? Cos I pay 6 euro in postage to Norway, with amazon.de :whistling:

I guess it's from the official shop as it's a t -shirt. I think it's because they use DHL ( or something similar) for all international shipping, so that it is fast and a tiracked delivery

Ah, makes sense. Well, fast and tracked sendings are good, but it depends on the postage, if it's expensive it kinda goes to 0.

I agree it is expensive if you only want to buy one thing, I usually try to wait until I wntbto buy a few things, or share the postage cost with another fan

I saw that. I haven't ordered from the merchandise shop, so I don't know what postage would cost here.
But still, like sir emental says, Czech Republic is just across the border, so why is it so expensive? :S

I think its probably not related to distance, but more that the same rate is charged for any "international" shipping

Its possible, but it doesnt make me sense. Its quite weird to pay for the postage to neighbour country same price like for eg. Switzerland :(

I bought a couple of things a few days ago, and the postage was 9.95 euros, I think this is less than it used to be.
I ordered Sunday evening it arrived on Tuesday :)

I bought something at a Irish shop last week. I paid 16 Euro for the package and shipping too. I guess that this isn't the fault of the shops. The price is decided by the logistic service. In this case it was DHL International. ;-)

To be honest I would rather pay more for a fast and reliable delivery:)
