(It did come back once I got back to hotel.) I have been somewhat neutral about dubstep, but I guess I tend to dislike it more than like it. It's strange because I listen to so many styles and experimental stuff, so why am I disliking dubstep? I just have no idea. But listening to the support act, I was trying to think it. The wobbling bass stuff just doesn't appeal to me. It's just somehow doesn't. From my seat I had a good view of people and when there was some dubstep remix of some older good track, during the chorus or whatever people were crazy, but when the dubstep bass came they lost interest in the song. I can't rationally say what I dislike in that dubstep bass. It sounds sort of good in a huge arena, but somehow it sounds too empty or soulless. (The words I thought there in the arena were "war" and "factory".) During Scooter I couldn't help but think how much better they are (and hope they wouldn't go deeper in the dubstep craze).
So he went away to check-in desk and I obviously didn't follow him, I was thinking that damn I lost my chance, but then he was coming back, walking towards me because the security check was somewhere behind me. I just boldly said "Excuse me? Are you Rick from Scooter?" or something like that
and he smiled and said yes and I launched into some mad rambling about the great concert yesterday and stuff like that, can't remember exactly what I was saying because my mouth was speaking independently of my brain. He was really nice as fans always say he is, asked me some questions that I answered, then I asked him some, I got to shake hands with him, he wished me good flight... So great!!
I'm still to meet HP and Mike one day but it was pretty damn amazing to meet Rick in person! All I can say that a concert trip can't get any better than this.

An absolutely fantastic concert! My first ever concert I had no idea what to expect, I just knew I was excited beyond belief for yesterday to come! I had wondered whether I was crazy booking so last minute from the UK, the cost of the ticket and delivery, plus last minute flight fares, but as soon as they came on stage I knew I'd done the right thing! It was truly AMAZING!
I met some great people while I was there, Sandra and her son Will, Kris and Erica, it's thanks to you all that I had such a great time! I doubt very much I would have got on the front row and had such a blast if it weren't for you all, thank you!
I cried several times throughout the concert and more times afterwards, it was by far, one of the best days of my entire life. Some of you may think "you really need to get out more girl!" and you'd be right! Out to more Scooter concerts! Bankruptcy here I come!![/qu
So glad you enjoyed your first (of many!) concerts! It was a fantastic night, the concert was absolutely amazing. I haven't been home long. I ache all over, struggle to talk but well worth every pain!! Watch out for the hard hats though![]()
