afaik the german chart position for It's A Biz should be available today at around 5PM for all customers of media control. Maybe Scooter know the position already, you can't rely on wikipedia. We'll know it at least on friday for sure^^

I couldn' see it on the DJ Playlist today, so I think from 77 it's dropped out.

Yes, Scooter will know the chart entry position now.
I hope its at least Top 20, but the charts we know about don't look good so far ...... but fingers crossed :)

It would be awesome if it made top 10, but I guess it takes a miracle for that to happen.

When TOO, DDE and CB could chart at #45, #67 and #77, IAB should be able to chart above all of them.
It's more catchy, it's had more promo than all the other singles all together... but I guess it doesn't work that way.

But I'll be surprised if IAB charts below #77.

It dropped from 77 in the DDP (Deutsch DJ Playlist) - I've no idea about the Media Control chart but i'm hoping for top 20

TBMU chart positions reflect clearly people's attitude towards weak and pop jumpstyle, house and electro. I hope the band has understood what exact styles we want them to work with.

I believe there'll be times when Scooter make another thriller like HMISF, Fire, Hyper, Posse and other hit-bombs. :)
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

guess which 5 tracks the worst performing Scooter singles are? here you go:

1. It's A biz 79
2. C’est Bleu 77
3. David Doesn’t Eat 67
4. The Only One 45
5. Friends Turbo 43

Come on! We can do worse, release another single from TBMU
All songs from the Big Mash Up, even Aiii Shot The DJ, No Fate and She's The Sun had better positions.
F#ck TBMU an come up with something new and hard hitting and straigthforward energy

It's not that much a question of style (because they had big success with jumpstyle not long ago ;) and they had not their biggest success with the trancy "TSAMH"), in my opinion there are two reasons for this downwards trend:

- the strange release and promotion policy since "Ti Sento" (I've written about this several times; with It's A Biz they made an early announcement and put the video online two weeks before the release, but they didn't present it at any TV show or @ the Dome and - most important - the video is not played by VIVA)

- the quality (NOT the style) of the recent singles:
--> the "SOR"-radio edit was very similar to the album version, there were no sepcials even if the album version could have been improved in a easy, but effecive way (Kamala singing the hpv-chorus, asdd a C-part to the song)
--> the "CB"-radio edit was not an improved, but a cut version from the album version - it's almost the first time that a radio edit is worse than its album version
--> "TOO" was a hybrid of trance and house, both styles didn't really fit together in this song, the verses and the "yehee"-shouts fit to the old hard and rough style, the chorus and the synths fit to the new club style, but both thogether doesn't really work
--> in "IAB" the hard (bass, KLF-mellow) and the housy elements (chorus) fit together, but there is/are no special part(s) and HP's lyrics lost their chilled flow they had in the album version
Further there are no b-sides or remixes done by really famous artists, just a club mix on the CDs and the extended version as download which makes especially the physical releases less attractive.

What they need to rise again: a "round" and catchy track with a special part or special elements within their basic style (fast beats, hard bass, anthemic or 'sweet'n'earwormy' chorus, pushing shouts) with a few fresh elements/variations here and there. And this track should - as far as possible - be released with the same release and promotion policy they used for "Weekend!", "Maria", "Nessaja", "T?" etc. PLUS early internet-promo (announcements on facebook, video on youtube as soon as possible...)

Wow, can they sink any lower?

They really need something HUGE now to get back on track...

Mr Hyper, would you possibly be so kind to let me say some words of disagreement? :P It is the matter of style and the way they try to make it pop. True that TSAMH is a trance-like track, but the reason why it didn't reach at least top 10 is Scooter's attempt to do it pop with all those bagpipes and HP's singing all the time. The beginnig of the Extended Version was excellent, except the first 30 seconds, and if it were a radio edit, with less HP vocals, no bagpipes, but more trance melodies - it would have been a thriller.

TBMU is a totally pop album that was meant to be a chart topper. Fortunately it failed. After this great disaster I believe Scooter will be back to the hard trance techno hardcore pitched voice rock MC scooterstyle. :)

TBMU is not the final nail in the coffin. BUT they first five are already nailed. :D ;) :D ;) :D ;)

They're not dead yet. I think they can still deliver new monster hits. But the smartest thing probably is that they take a break. Unplug everything that has to do with music. So that they will refresh their minds. So that the ideas will come to them.

And not as apparently happened with TBMU. It was them who hunted and forced the ideas. And the end result was very divisive for the fans. And disastrous on the chartlist
