scooter fans are idiots!

Am I the only person to find H.P.s statement during the Hamburg gig offensive? Fans spend hundreds/thousands supporting the band in one way or another buying their music, merchandise, travelling all over Europe and beyond to see the the band, only for H.P., who was clearly in a bad mood in Hamburg, to inform us "we are all idiots!" I don't think it is very good p.r. to treat the fans with such disdain. I think an apology is in order, or does he believe himself to be above that!! It spoiled an otherwise brilliant evening, back in time particularly, at least Rick and Michael appear to show less contempt for their fans!

i think it was some banter, to show his kinda respect for status quo, he went on to say we are all crazy in his german language, properly some front man banter
but i was a little surprised too

does anyone know if he said it the other shows so far?

i don't think its banter to insult the fans who travel extensively and support and promote the band! I did hear what he sed bout the quo but found the disparaging comments disgraceful and unnecessecary

I got the impression that H.P. was getting increasingly annoyed over the dub dub dubbing, and then there was the quo comment - I wasn't at the front, but he didn't seem too happy at that time from where I was. It wasn't his normal banter to say something like "you dont listen to me, you are all idiots"

He didn't seem very happy later either and never introduced the band at the end

What sort of Quo comment was there? Did a fan made that shouting loud or so?

No, without listening again I can't remember exactly, but H.P. said something about 1979 or something, and got no response from the audience except dub dub I think - I'll have to listen again to be sure

Btw - unless I missed it somehow it was the first concert I have every been to where he never introduced the band at the end! He just seemed to want to leave the stage

@Sandra: My thoughts about these few seconds and the whole show are completely different. I think the 1979 phrases were just fun. AND HP was in a really good and sporty mood. Maybe he forgot to introduce Rick and Michael. Don't forget it was their first concert of the tour. Btw he introduced the dancers.... ;)

I'm not sure, I had a VIP ticket with meet and greet.
It was a great concert, so let's not distract from that :) the only annoying thing was the cub dub dubbing, especially during the pusher.
I know he introduced the dancers, I was on the side of the stage at that time :D

errrr... you just need the right frame (out of thousands of frames) and without motion it would seem like it.
like if you'd take a photo in the exact same moment you close your eyes, you'd look like you're sleepy...

hard to say if he was in a good or bad mood, because he knows how to rock the crowd, even if he's had a bad day. He certainly didn't look bad during the inferno and he got divorced that morning...

I think he was just annoyed by the dub dub dubbing and about that 1979 thing... that was unnecessary in the 1st plays. HP, you're not suppossed to tell stories :P

EDIT:
I can imagine that H.P. was pissed about the technical issues, too. His mic was of a dozen times, if I remember right the LED screen wasn't working 100% of the time (like during JH it turned off a few times)...

h.p. must smile on the stage! you must smile in this world if other people see you also if you are depressive! i'm also depressive!
you can learn to not show other people! if you are looking happy it not means you are really happy.
and we also know H.P. like to drink much wodka! :D

I have to say that it's getting somewhat annoying to hear "DUB DUB" in between every song on concerts or so. So in a way I can understand HP that he might have gotten also annoyed that the fans he heared loudly "Dub Dub"-ing seem not to be interested in what he said. Ok, he shouldn't have said maybe what he said, but well, he's als a human, and maybe it really annoyed him bigtime that one always gets "dub dub" and nothing more on concerts. It's their huge hit ofcourse, but still, too much "dub dub"-ing gets annoying the last years, a fact ;)

Oh my :S  When will that ever stop.... A bit of dub dubbing is ok, but why do many of the posse have the need to do it always and endlessly... even if one likes it, it gets on ones nerves if it's too much. Probably that was the case with HP's outburst. Enough is enough, and they reached the level that made his red light burning so to speak.
