To become a hit and not only for one week it must be top20 in musicload, itunes and amazon mp3 !! I doubt this will happen.

It will chart around top 20-30 and falls afterwards :(

Only massive TV promo could help. They should really perform in a big show THIS month. The Dome isn't enough! "Wetten, dass..." would have been so much better. Well their choice ;)

The style doesn't matter!
Every single released by any artist will fail with 2 exceptions:

1. You get massive radio airplay and your songs are played in TV, too
2. You have a fanbase of thousands of fans who buy your single

Scooter don't have no. 1 and they're trying heavily to make no. 2 possible (just look at all their facebook posts).

My prediction is: Every single since TSAMH fails, until Scooter are lucky and come up with another complete surprise like The Question was. They shouldn't even bother releasing anything from TBMU after C'est Bleu because it will fail, too. And that's not because the actual song is bad or smth. it's how music business works.

The time when it was enough to release a single, do a bit of promotion @ The Dome and have at least a top 10 entry is over since the release of Ti Sento.

it's not a style problem
main problem is the whole Scooter music concept is overused after all the years also H.P.'s shouting voice
it's simply nothing fresh anymore for the people - simply overused

No, their concept isn't overused. Fresh, hard and fast partymusic is popular like ever.
Read the post of aganim. That's more realistic.

They ARE popular at all. But they need the radio airplay to get TOP10 hits these days. (Radio Sunshine live isn't enough.)
The internet is full of all artists now, it's nothing special to be at fb, twitter or so.

The main problem Scooter haven't really arrived in the new internet age yet.
In former times you had to do the following to have good promotion:

-send promo versions of a new single a few weeks before the single's release to radio stations/club DJs
-send video of a new single at least one week before the single's release to VIVA or other music channels
-appearances in TV shows/festivals (Club Rotation, TVTotal/The Dome) around the release of a new single

Scooter have never had a huge radio airplay, but they had VIVA and some TV appearances. Music channels like VIVA are decreasing these days, thus there are almost only TV appearances for Scooter. Today's music channel is the internet. But Scooter have just begun to enter this new area. Their facebook-community is not that large yet and their youtube-videos don't have as many clicks as the videos of many other popular artists have ("The only one" --> only 400,000). Scooter's online appearance is still under construction. And to enlargen their fanbase they have to release an earworm tune like "The ?" that many people like after one or two times of listening. This earworm tune should be presented in the classical way (that means: send video before the single's release to music channels, appear at TV shows...) and it should be promoted in the new way (bring video before tjhe single's release online, early announcements on facebook etc.), so that as many people as possible come to hear the new song and start to like it because of its catchiness. Then they will search for the song and possibly for Scooter stuff in general on their own and therefore they will use youtube, facebook etc.. So Scooter's "online fanbase" will get bigger. And then promotion will be quite easy because you can inform over 100,000 of people on your new stuff with a single facebook-post. But as long as their internet community is not big enough they will have to make the best of traditional ways of promotion. And this has not been the case with the releases since TSAMH (late videos, misleading announcements [FT/TOO-double-A,...])

I hope for a next TV appearance @ "Schlag den Raab" (Pro7) 17.12.2011. Would be nice! But I doubt that this will happen.

Who knows it?
a) Does a band need to ASK the TV Show to be part of it? Maybe for free or does a big band needs to pay to play?
b) Or are TV stations asking different bands to be part of a show? Free or payed? Maybe to increase the viewers rate.
c) Mixed?! Because both sides can profit.
