I don't think there's need for shame,as this album was declared "experimental", so there's no shame when experiments fail,it's part of the "experiment".

The Scorpions back in 1999 , released a softer album called "Eye to Eye" which the fans totally hated, and wanted to forget and said that this wasn't the Scorpions sound, and it came to that even Scorpions themselves admitted it was indeed a bad experiment and returned back to the roots, well the next 11 years (until they retired now) they went back to the roots and released their harder albums that worked well with the fans and everybody were happy.

I think Scooter can do the same for sure.

they should come up with a new album ASAP, just like they did with JAOTW.

they should come up with a new album ASAP,

Guys should seriously think about that, but it will be hard to get inspired while working on "C'est blue", hoping it will go well, then getting prepared for "The Big mash Up Tour" in March. Maybe we'll get some new track there. Don't forget that there's a big chance of releasing "It's a biz" as a single. Maybe 2 or 3 tracks will be finished before the tour and the rest of them after. Like I said before - I'm expecting a new album in a 1Q of 2013, but have nothing against sooner release, as long as it has some good and quality tracks. Two or three tracks from 2nd and 3rd chapter would be most welcome - HOW ABOUT MAKING AN ALBUM CONSISTED OF PREVIOUSLY USED STYLES :!: (happy hardcore, hardstyle, techno, trance, jumpstyle) - 2/3 tracks of each style. That would be a great mashup. Following trends doesn't mean a 100% success - unfortunatly we just got a real proof.

I don't think that there's a remedy for album chart rise-up, but there's surely something that should be done with following releases. All these rip-offs and covers doesn't bother me as long as they sound fresh and are implemeted in good way. Just look at "No Fate","Shake that", "Take a break", "Trance-Atlantic", "Level one", "The Night" and "Weekend",etc.. Still looking forward to the new "Like Hypa said  " and "The Chaser   " (besides our friend here)

Very well said! Scooter should really think of making an album full of songs in different good old Scooter styles, but of course, in a new modern way. That would be awesome! :)
With that said, I still love the new album. It's great!

P.S. The Chaser is very popular last few weeks. Thank you! :D
We don't need a knife, we don't need a gun...all we need is Scooter and some fun! :)

The best thing to do, is making the music you like, and not what others like, just to have it sell well.
The backside is, if you're an artist, living of it, you need good chart positions to get interest by those who listen to what's most popular.

To me, "new Scooter music" is when I discover a single I didn't know existed from the old days.

"Fire Remixes - Klubbheads Remix" is a new song to me. I love playing it over and over. Or the PKG mixes for Pusher and Posse. Great new music I have never heard before 2011.

The junk on the new album can go right into the trash bin, never want to hear any of it again. Sorry, Scooter. You've moved away from what made you great.

im really liking the new album, but i also would love to see scooter go back in time a bit,
scooter did mention they were unhappy with the album before its release and back to the roots was suggested, so i hope the next album follows in this style

Yes,Scooter weren't happy with the album already after TOO, but I think the real blame is on Kontor and their stupid deadlines, now that they ate their hat for speeding up Scooter with releasing an album they didn't feel good about will maybe show Kontor that sometimes it is better to wait longer for the artists to make better album and not running after deadlines.

I think that most of the investment was already done in TBMU,so not so much time needed to improve the album,it's not like Scooter work by the hour and you have to pay them for another 1000 studio sessions, from other side if Scooter have their own studio they don't need to pay for studio time-so I just wonder why they didn't improve the album if this what felt right for them?

And I think now the album released as it is-with Scooter not happy with it-they marketting it as experimental is pretty much forced and does not seem genuine.

true, i guess scooter decided to go ahead and just finish the album and see how it goes,
going by the recent interview at the fridge festival, scooter are working on the new album now, so scooter will wanna now do what they decided to do recently, which could mean a back to the roots album.

@sandra, maybe you will find it tomorrow :D

Nope - for some reason didn't get transferred when I got my Mac, will have to rerecord it from vinyl

But back to the album, I think it was changed after TOO, and had that been a hit the album might have been very different, but only the guys really know

The album could have become a hit regardless of the success of TOO.
The style could be successful for them, it could just be that TOO wasn't everyone's cup of tea. An album in the same style wouldn't necessarily fail because TOO failed.

oh god, only 4 weeks, this album and its singles have been the most unsuccessful ever for scooter,

in one word flop,

cant believe how it went, it is a good album,

maybe CB will help it return for a few weeks, but i fear this is the end of this era for scooter,
hence why scooter said in the interview recently that they are going to start work on the next album after the release of CB,
with this success, i cant even see its a biz being released now, like ti was kinda hinted, however it could make a good gap filler between CB and the new new single next year

jeez, cant believe it

Ha! Only 4 weeks on the top 100 album charts!!! I am Not surprised at all. But I am surprised that many fans think this uhm........album are one of the greatest album of all time 8| Strange! But then again. This is another Ying & Yang effect. The fans want this new and fresh style. And the others want the old styles back.
