EDIT: Now the US government and corporations could block any sites, foregin or domestic. Sites like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook would have to censor their users or get shut down since they become liable for everything users post.

kelvo, dude! Seriously! Have you seen the whole videoclip? This means more then "TRYING" to stop download music & movies illegally. By accepting this law. The US governmant gain the power to censur the internet. And serveral other countries will copy this format. This is just 3 example of many. How it will be if this new Bill comes true.

* Censoring the internet: As you can see on the videoclip. They will have the power to sue or take down a videoclip or the whole site. If they discover you by have a famous song in the background. And they will certainly not stop there. The word to speak free will be in danger.

* It will be more easy to track down your activities on the internet.

* They can take down the internet if something serious happens. Take the up rising against Muammar Gaddafi for example. They close down the internet. So the rest of the world couldnt see when Gaddafi's troops behaved like barbarians against the civilians.
