i did notice,

the next album will have the same effect, a new style no one will like, but the house track will be the best one of it?

When fans said they dont like hardstyle and jumpstyle, they wanted Scooter to do trance.
No one expected Scooter will turn to the crappiest of all genres - electro house and/or dub step.

So now its gone from bad to worse.

No it's not strange. Not strange at all. Becouse you see, in Scooter's era of Jumpstyle and Hardstyle. The fans of those both styles was strongly against it. They did not want Scooter to do a commercial Jump & Hard style tracks. And maybe destroy the reputation of those both styles.

When ordinary people who have no knowledge about the "true" Jumpstyle & Hardstyle. Hear the words Jumpstyle & Hardstyle they immediately think of Scooter's tracks. Becouse the people have only Scooter as a link to those styles.

But in THIS case with TBMU. The people generally don't think this is a good path for Scooter. For a few days ago a friend called me and said "Have Scooter created a new side project? A dubstep project?" He honestly thought that "Scooter" wasn't behind the DDE track. And just take a look at the charts now. DDE starting to fall. I think at the begining everybody thought that DDE was a new HMITF. So everybody pre-order it. Personally I hope DDE is just a bizarre hiccup.

If Scooter are seriously about "THE BIG MASH UP". The next single will be a totally different style.
Hahaha! Mikey, you're the best! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOi5MSGSmj8

I think the "fans" generally now love the hardstylish songs on TBMU, because it are the only songs that in their eyes are instantly recognisable as Scooter. It seems many people are not open to experiments or new sounds, even if they still sound like Scooter. Some people would like to hear 17 years the same songs, and well, that;s not good, and in a way Scooter never did that, although at first many people might say so. But when you listen you discover there have always been major changes in sound and style. Just compare Wicked to OHH, or TUAO to JAOTW. It's not the first time we were surprised with new sounds, it's just maybe the surprise this time was bigger than the suprises in the past, and therefor some still can't get a hold of it, and in an panic reaction scream for a less surprising sound. And therefor C'est Bleu or Summer Dream are favourites on Facebook as one can see, they are the safe sound, the sound people are used to. But it;s actually the sound that people aren't used to, that are the diamonds, but they simply don't see it yet due to the sound shock or so ;)

Yes Yes!! Scooter have change their styles over the years. From Happy Hardcore, Trance, Stadium-Techno, Jumpstyle to Hardstyle. And thats fine! Becouse those styles fits Scooter. BUT NOT the current Dubstep & Electro-House style. AT ALL!!!! When people think of Scooter's music. They think of fast & energetic songs. Not slow Dubstep songs. Its like to drive a car at 380 km/h. And when you play songs like IAB, DDE, BTI & S&D&RnR. The car immediately slow down to 100 km/h. The songs are so boring and slow.

But I respect them to try something new. Only if its just temporary. They can do sooo much better songs.

Actually I recon the "slow" songs actually work well and you will keep on driving fast because of the melody and mood in them. But I get your point, yes, the songs are no atomic energy bombs playing on high revs like most "older" Scooter stuff. But still, I see this album very suitable for Autobahn drives, and well, do we always have to drive 380km/h? 150km/h is also sometimes a nice speed :D

Unfortunately most Scooter fans aren't very demanding, as long as they get hard bass, fast-written lyrics, HPV or overrepeating chours, they are happy. But when Scooter experiment and widen their musical creations, they are not satisfied and say that's not Scooter. On the other hand, I'm happy to see that there are still people that value Scooter experimenting with music and not just producing albums like copy & paste. For me TBMU is the best and so far only really good album of 4th chapter, with UTROTT being the second, and the rest being far behind these two.

I'm just listening to a modern day Scooter classic and HP just said, For sure I've got my plan, don't really give a damn, on my own mission I fight like a man, doing it for myself, not for the industry. I think he's just said exactly what I was going to. It's Scooter's music, they make what they like and we listen to it. If they want to make absolute bangers (C'Est Bleu) they will. And if they want a bizarre house type song, they'll make that (It's a Biz). If you don't like it, the door isn't that far away.

JAH is to me a worse hardstyle version of the single bomb TSTKE could have been. I like it, though, but the whole hardstyle sund is too monotone to me. Same bassdrum, beat, speed...
I can honestly say JAOTW had more variation than UTROTT.

As an example, I still think The Question sounds fresh and new, after 4 years.
JAH, on the other hand, have less energy and creativity. That's my opinion.

To my view, hardstyle is too monotone to offer an exciting and fresh sound.

That said, I enjoy half of UTROTT.

There is nothing similar between J'Adore Hardcore and The Stuff that killed Elvis (I can't believe people are still talking about that track), and I deffinitely don't think J'Adore Hardcore has any less energy or creativity than The Question, I think that's a huge statement to make. I think J'Adore Hardcore is one of the most energetic Scooter singles, for me, it's one of the top 3 (with Ramp! and I'm Lonely). I like Hardstyle, Scooter's interpretation anyway, and I would dearly love an album entirely of that style. I know it will never happen, because Scooter's way is to vary styles and sounds to make a long lasting album.

All that said, it is clear that our tastes differ greatly, and I think that is one of the best things about Scooter. They appeal to so many different people.
