This is a signature. yeah, you´re right, but...the way HP´s singing, the electronic sound...it hurts...Heh, ironically it's always the Maria chant that we're hearing in concerts in-between songs, so I guess many want to hear that style...
I get people's point who don't like this album -- it's the largest change they have ever made in their sound. But it's not only that: these styles are not for those who don't like noise and glitch. So far people, from Scooter, people have always come to hear songs where instruments (for a lack of better term, but I mean bass drums, synths, all that stuff) neatly play they parts, and the choruses are matching them, the song neatly divided in sections. On this album they get thrown around like in a hurricane, choruses are wrecked in pieces, instruments bleeb and sound like they're about to break, beats are chopped wildly. The songs are uneven and unpredictable! These are the things that put off people who are not into this kind of music, I think. They're expecting a kind of hard but harmonic sound from Scooter, which this album doesn't present in the slightest.
Anyway; I really love this album, because I like just that kind of stuff that I described above. But I totally see why this is not to everyone's taste. And I'm pleasantly surprised Scooter did it so well, considering the wholeness of their songs so far.

I like my music tidy, neat, with nice vocals, bassdrum, synth in harmony. After all, people don't call me Miss Commercial for no reason.
The album isn't terrible, it's just something that could have been made by anyone. It's not giving me that good, warm, Scooter vibe. The (in my opinion) technical quality that make the music stay in harmony. It's full of songs that are okay. I just expected more, because I always get more. That's why I'm disappointed I think.
For me it wasn't Scooter, my favourite band of all times. It was whatever.
Indeed no comparison with TUAO!
I love the part between 1:20 and 2:00. 9 of 10 points.
nice beats (I wonder if they're "borrowed" as well), chorus from Enigma track really suits the track and makes interesting atmosphere...battle with "HPV rapper" is very interesting idea and I really like it, HP lyrics are also decent. Then again, it lacks a proper main melody, so therefor 7/10.
Melody from the beginning is really nice and for me, it's probably the best melody on the album, so I really hope it's their own...Although I was never a fan of the original track, chorus is really executed well and it really works! Nice effects and transitions also...Because of some house parts - 8/10
HPV parts are cool and main melody is not bad, I hope it's theirs but I wouldnt be surprised if its another Technoboy rip off. Because hardstyle was never really my style, lets say 7/10
I really miss good euphoric trance melodies from Scooter, like Way Up North, Soul Train, Cordyline, Giant's Causeway, to name some "recent" ones..This post has been edited 2 times, last edit by "Eyeball Paul" (Oct 17th 2011, 3:59pm)
I think the album will grow on me in time the more I listen to it, its definetly going to be permanent fixture in my car for a few weeks. My initial feelings are that the typical Scooter energy is missing from some tracks, but i've only had chance to listen to the album in full about 3 times so far.
I also think the addition of "suck my megamix" was great, im sure im going to listen to over and over again.

You have said what I am feeling in a way - I think its a good album with well made tracks and the guys have certainly proved they can make different music, but for me the power and energy is not there in some tracks.
All previous albums have also had something intangible but special - a sort of special Scooter sound that made them distinctive, although all different - some tracks on this album don't have that, even H.P's voice has lost its distinctiveness in some tracks.
I think they have done a good job with the album, and I really like some tracks, but some just are not Scooter - sort of just normal stuff like others make.
I also think the megamix is a great addition and I'm sure I will listen to it a lot, especially in the car on long journeys.
I'm listening to the album again now, and i have the feeling that 3 or 4 may become favourites, but unfortunately not them all, which is a first for me with a Scooter album
