I hope that history does not repeat, like with the concert from Berlin, which was only in DD 2.0 ...

Berlin originally wasn't planned to be released on DVD, that's why there is only 2.0 sound.
But with the Inferno (it was even broadcastet in cinemas) you can be sure we'll get DD5.1 and/or DTS ;)

Is the album getting any promotion yet in Germany apart from Facebook?

As far as I know FB is the only promo so far + the countdown on the official site. I have German stations, but haven't seen anything from the album, nor a TV appearance of Scooter. So we really need the video to atleast get some promo on TV ;)

Not yet. Maybe there will be posters or promo interviews in newspapers. Or like Ed said, promo in TV.

The most important fact is the availability in stores. That was the problem of the last singles..

I do hope they'll make a TV appereance...
They could present the new video clip for DDE on thursday 13th at TVTotal and play it live on saturday during Schlag den Raab. The latter always reaches a wide audience and since they know Stefan a bit, well ;)

HP's appereance at Ina's Nacht on the 13th ist just a rerun, so it's not about TBMU and it's on EinsFestival, a very small TV station...
It's NOT a good idead to rely only on facebook and do no promotion at all!!

Yes right...30% of the Germans are not "online". Only less than a half of the people with internet have facebook. (22mio.)
Scooter has 40,000 fans there. To reach #1 they need a big fanbase (yes, they have) and more than the internet promotion!!

One big advantage: If they could reach a TOP5 place during the first weeks (like JAOTW), they've there non-internet promotion in stores!

If only the majority of the FB 'fans" were German, and would all buy the album and not illegally download it, we would be in for a succes. But well, the fans are international, so not all of the FB will help in sales.... but still, I think with FB they atleast have more promo than with UTROTT, where they were not so active on FB yet ;) But the albums succes will mainly depend on DDE this time, if that catches on, the album will sell very well :)

Like I said some weeks ago. The album will enter the Top 20, may the Top 10 in the first week but then it will go down to nowhere...

Like many Scooter albums did, atleast the big drop in the 2nd week and so on :S ... only a succesful single like O(AH) can keep it longer in the charts, so still, if DDE will have succes it might drop less quick, but that are only hopes, not facts, I know....
