That's All I'm Saying (Time To Confess)

Dear lord in heaven!!! 2½ days ago I created the topic This is the last nail in the coffin. FOR SURE!!!!! And WOW! :) I really love the passion in that topic. Both the possitive and the negative of the new album. But now I must confess something. The most of it was just an act on my side. :D

Yes! I was pissed off about the direction of the new production. And the whole forum shot down. But I quickly calm down afterwards. And shortly thereafter I created the topic. The whole provoke and furious thing was just to get you fans fired up. But why did I do it?!???

My personal experience is that you say what you really feel in the heat of the moment. So.. the samples was out there. And the first impression of the fans (including me) was SO MIXED! And I got the impression that few of you didn't really know what to think about The Big Mash Up. So I decided to "poke at the stunned bears". Just to see which reaction I will get of it. YEAH, THAT'S ME IN A NUTSHELL!!!!

Sometimes I really got the fans mad. For example, my bad ranking of The Big Mash Up. :D :D And sometimes my comment didn't really make sense. :P And for a moment there I was worried that you might kick me out of the forum. :S Unfortunately the timeing was awful. The whole troll/haters invasion is now upon us. And some of you have got the impression that I am here only for the hate. That's not the case at all!! I have been a member for a while now. As some here may know. The hardcore-fan in me are gone. But I still like those crazy guys.

And finally! A few words about the TBMU samples.

It is true that I don't like Electro-House & Dub-step. And from the frist time I heard that Scooter will produce thise styles I have been against it. But the finally judgment of those samples are. Pretty good actually. But it took a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time too really get in too the sound. I will give TBMU a chance too grow on me.

PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to listen the samples also quite a few times to get into the sound, at first I was quite shocked by such an unexpected sound. I think most fans had that feeling at first listen. But after a while I started to appreciate what Scooter did, because it was so new and different to the usual Scooter we know. I'm still not jumping for joy, but hear and feel the potential of this album, and actually do like it (so you see my mixed feelings in this sentence ;) ). Well, maybe it was about time the happy-hardcore posse moved on a bit into the 21st century :D Let's see how the full tracks will be, but one thing is sure, they will have unexpected twists and tweeks, that might surprise us in the end. :)

I was shocked too but i'm not creating my own thread to talk sh.it about Scooter. It's enough when GTA does. :P

It was fun reading the topic, I think. To see how do people react on this one...
But your quickly made "opinion" was nothing compared to what do people do on the Hungarian forum.:P
Almost everyone said it's a complete sh!t after hearing the short Amazon samples. They started saying that it will be the worst album on earth. They praise Rick for every track they like and blame Michael for every track they hate. After bad words, they usually start to like the album a bit and write good things about it. And when they hear the samples of the next album, everything gets repeated the same way. :)
Feel the energy inside!

A neat trick you pulled there :D But it was still very nice and refreshing to see a topic with such a headline and content! Really spices up the conversation, as it's mostly dull and repetitive from my perspective.

On this board you can sum up the samples-reactions for the last albums like that:

TSTE - enthusiasm after listening to the samples, enthusiasm after listening to the whole album, nearly everybody here liked it
MTG - enthusiasm after listening to the samples, a bit diasppointment after listening to the whole album (only "One" and "The Chaser" kept what they had promised in their samples)
WGTLLN? - a bit diappointment after listening to the samples (because of the huge amount of hpv-+crowd-tracks), better mood after listening to the whole album (because there were a lot of tracks with pure Scooter feeling and quality on it)
TUAO - the samples left a very good impression of the whole album and the album proved to be a very good one
JAOTW - disappointment after listening to the samples ("everything sounds similar, so much hpv"), but then the album grew on most parts the posse here because of its easiness and happiness; but nervertheless: no one thought that JAOTW was the best Scooter album and some fans don't like it even today
UTROTT - enthusiasm after listening to the samples, a bit disappointment after listening to the whole album; UTROTT is considered to be better and more diverse than JAOTW, but its sound is still not very diverse

well i accept your apology/confession, we all had the same thoughts, you just worded them for us,

how ever i really like this sound scooter are doing, it just sounds different, id rather this than another jump album, it would have been to much the same, kinda like the massive trance era,

how ever this is how i saw TBMU, first of all i was like oh no not electro and dubstep, my 2 least fav styles, so boring and pointless, but then i listened more closely, and suddenly thought, well at least this album has a mixed stlye which i love, adds more to the album, and also actually listened closer and realised their were less samples and ripps this time and more influence, like the old times, i also listened close for in deaph detail and noticed some real killer effects,

after all that i kinda then thought, wow actually this aint so bad, now im really looking forward to the final result now

so as said

i accept your apology/confession.

I have already explain why I did it. But this whole thing is overplayed now. Forget about it & move on.

And BTW

Yes, sometimes I can be a little coco weird. But the doctors are working 24 hours a day to find a cure for me.

If you must complain more. You must first take a number and stand in line for your turn. There are only 1000.00000 in the line. So it will take a while. :D

Peace!!

Actually you're wrong. I got something out of this whole thing. An exciting, intense, spicey & passioned discussion.

Yes, I know there's a group of fans that think this was just idiotic, childish, trolling, waste of time & no point of it.

But as we fans says. If Scooter are so bad. Then why are they keep selling so well. So if this was just so childish and no point of it. Then why was the topic swarm of posts.

Hate me or like me. But one thing you must admit. Scooter touch people on one way or the other. And when they have manage to do that. Then they have done something every big.

I haven't read anything in this thread, but you have made a very powerful enemy this day, Cold_Shadow.

I am disgusted that someone living in the same town I grew up in, before I moved into the world and became the perfect specimen I am today, would chose to support and show their allegiance to a collection of degenerate inbreds. It makes me sick.
