OMG.
For me this scratching has nothing to do with real music.

Maybe I'm too old for this.

i still hear nothing, it must be part of the song,

the only thing i hear that resembles this noise is the scratches from a record like what dj's do, if so another element added to the album

Huh?! Six pages in a thread which was created today?! That's a lot...

What confuses me is that people in their discussions only concentrate on the style of music in TBMU, not on the quality. And also without having listened to the whole album.

Maybe I would share opinions of some of you if I had listened to the samples yet, but I didn't.

Something else: Would it be that terrible if Scooter would have produced one album, which you don't like? Can't you just say "well, this time they didn't manage to make me happy, I'll wait for the next album"?

I'm not a fan of Electro and House and many other "softer" styles of electronic music. I haven't heard much about Dubstep so far, to be honest... Don't really know what this is about... But well, if Scooter think, they should choose this path - it's their decision, if we like it or not.

This "new" style - it's not my cup of tea.
I feel weird after so many years, when I hear the pounding of a hammer, and everyone is trying to convince me that this is new, still good or even better Scooter...
What's wrong with you ?

as bassfire says, what scooter choose is their choice.

regarding the sound quality of this album, i think it has a good sound to it, most tracks seem like they have been produced well

anyway, i like what i hear so far

And isn't this sth. people should be happy about? E.g. after TUAO was released, some fans complained about the bad mastering etc. Now as the tracks seem to be produced well, lots of the fans pick the changes in music style to moan about... Must be somehow frustrating from the band's point of view
To be a fan of a band isn't like sitting in a restaurant, where you can insist in getting served the meal you have ordered. :D

I probably will like TBMU, because I mostly like what they produce - apart from tracks like Suavemente with embarrassing lyrics like "hola, una cerveca!" :S

Seeing the Dreams sample, luckily! I love it! As I suspected, there was much more to this song than what I thought from the Amazon sample. Sounding very promising. They really sound unlike ever before, can't wait to hear this stuff on the next tour. 8)

DDE sample is sadly still unavailable to me...
 This is a signature.

They keep doing this since the TUAO
And I don't know who lied to Scooter, telling them that electro house is hip. It started being trendy in 2005/6 with Fedde Le Grand's Put ya hands up for Detroit and it died a year later!

It seems this album is really getting attention of non Scooter fans. I sent the samples to a friend and when I yesterday visited him he couldn't stop talking about them and asking when this great album comes in store. He usually is no Scooterfan at all, he has been to 2 concerts with me, and he considers the music ok, but never reacted like he did yesterday. He was totally in extacy about the new stuff. So that's the strange effect of this new sound, it seems to get people to Scooter that normally weren't really into Scooter ;)
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D

I agree Ed, for every existing fan that doesn't like this album I think there will be many new fans that do :)

HA! It wouldn't surprise me at all if this album really be the nr 1 in the charts. Hey!, look at Jumping all over the world. X( Seriously, I still to this day can't believe it.

That's interesting to hear Edgar, I was wondering how this album would sound to people who aren't necessarily big Scooter fans. Certainly this dubstep is rather popular in the UK so maybe something like David Doesn't Eat will play well here. I guess it is always strange to start with when Scooter try a new style of electronic music, but it certainly does help keep them fresh and I for one can't wait to hear the new album in full. :P
