I don't regard TBMU that bad - at least not before I have listened to the full tracks for a few times.
There are really some interesing sound experiments with the beats, the effects, HP's voice etc., the album has a new sound that differs from UTROTT/JAOTW a lot. And: Most of the tracks don't seem to be hybrids between (electro) house/d'n'b and the typical Scooter style (like the Only One was), no, it rather seems to be that they turned their style into those new genres (like they did with 'Shake that!").
And there are also some classical tracks for the oldschool fans.
I am not a fan of (electro) house either - but we should give them a try and judge it after having listened to the full album.

I still haven't changed my opinion on TBMU, if anything (while listening to all the samples on youtube :D) I've come to like it even more. To me it sounds like the best 4th chapter album, or at least sharing with TUAO. I love its experimental sound and all the different styles. And these short samples tell only a small part of each song, there are most likely massive things beyond what we hear at the moment, and samples that sound "the worst" may end up being one of the better tracks. Can't wait to hear it in its entirety in about two weeks.

Heh, probably some delay & problems, perhaps the sample comes a few minutes before midnight. No word of any video or its shooting yet... I hope it won't be their first single without one.

1. CIFL - not much to say, but it seems there are again reversed vocal samples, like they did in Keyser Soze (use your dildo :D), anyone figured out what do they say?
It says "Copyright is for losers".

That link doesn't work for me either, and it seems a strange link for the official samples, what is there ( if anything)?

Are you guys mad?

This sounds like the best 4th chapter album so far.

One of the tracks sounds like Pendulum with 8 bit sounds like Crystal Castles :D

This actually sounds modern, unlike UTROTT which sounded like a timewarp album

1. CIFL – very good intro, not worse than the other albums
2. David Doesn´t Eat – Very Good
3. Dreams – not bad (reminds me of “Never Slow Down")
4. Beyond The Invisible – very interesting
5. Sugary Dip – good, typical Scooter (like stuck on replay 2010)
6. It´s A Biz - ??? (need to listening all track)
7. C´est Bleu –awsome, very, very good
8. 8.15 To Nowhere – interesting (Kraftwerk)
9. Close Your Eyes – good, typical Scooter
10. Sex And Drugs And Rock N Roll – not typical Scooter but I like it
11. Copyright – interesting, you should listen the hole track
12. Bang Bang Club - ???
13. Summer Dream – typical Scooter, jumpstyle
14. Mashuiaia – good trance
In my opinion, Scooter can really get a lot of new fans with this album, The Big Mash Up tour will a great success.

I know we all gonna (at least) like the new record after few hearings, but I don't think it could compete with TUAO, which is one of my Top 3 albums, beside TSTE and OHH :)

From what I can hear in the samples, "Close Your Eyes" has the pottential to be a great track, so I do hope I'm not wrong there :) On 2nd place I would put "David Doesn't Eat", it has an interesting rocky sound although it's not rock. I like the experimentalness and freshness of that track. The rest of the samples I can not really put in a ranking, because from some tracks I need to hear more parts and so on. But in general the sound is interesting, refreshing and experimental. But always the question pops into my mind: " Is this Scooter or not" and I can't give a definitive answer on that. It's a good album, but I don't know if good for a band like Scooter who is expected to have some 90s vibe in it in some way. But well, I can't say the album is bad, because that's not the case. But I also can't say it's the best, because that's also not the case, or is it? I'm still a bit confused, because I do like what I hear, but am not sure if it's what I want to hear from Scooter. A bit difficult to explain ...... but still, I do like it, as said, but am still a bit confused somehow, because it's so unexpectetly different. Maybe when the first shock because of the unexpected sound goes away, the confusion will also go away. I do hope so and think so :)

after hearing the samples i knew the critism was gonna be mixed, i like it a lot,

and the fact the album has a mixed style means the single wont be to repetative, i love when scooter do experimental albums,
now the 4th chapter has its experimental album
