Different, you say...Scooter music is now different? ?(
Why that doesn't surprises me at all?! Why? Because they were always shocking us, and they were never ever the same...they were always changing...and they were always good in that! Pardon me...not good...the f.ucking best!

The change this time is bigger than before, I think you have no clue how different it is ;) But still, it's also Scooter-ish, it's a real refreshing of the Scooter-brand so to speak. The album is quite experimental and surprising ;)

What i don't like is that the first topic about the samples was quickly deleted, like if us, the fans are to blame because Scooter's game "one day/one sample" was destroyed by Amazon. Also a post of mine was deleted with the following reason: undefined. Honestly, i haven't done or said something wrong

Short opinion about the samples:

From the samples I like David Doesn't Eat and Beyond The Invisible.
For the rest of the tracks, I really don't know. It sounds like they're trying to create a 90's vibe in a modern style.
the house tunes are very much like the recent pop-electro-house stuff you hear on the radio all day but then with HPV added to it which makes it even more cheesy.

Anyhow, need to hear the full thing to judge it anyway, yet one thing is for sure, I won't pre-order after hearing the samples, they haven't convinced me yet

@fanatik_scooter: Yeah. I'd agree with their methods if people were discussing about some illegal leaks (which I wouldn't touch), but we're talking about perfectly legitimate samples in Amazon here...

I think this album is quite refreshing, it's certainly experimental. I don't think it's that commercial. Or at least the effect isn't like that, when Scooter tries popular genres it still sounds so different from other acts. That, and I think saying something is commercial or not is a bit stupid, it's music all the same.

The sound of TBMU is indeed very experimental I would say. From what I could hear they tried out many different things and sounds which I never ever heard before in Scooter tracks. But its sooooo different to UTROTT, that because of that it's quite shocking at first listen. The tracks are overall quite good, but still, I need to hear more longer samples to give a better opinion. But they certainly were trying out many new stuff, it's like if they tried to refresh the Scooter-brand in a way. It's still Scooter, but so fresh and new that it almost sounds a bit like some sort of first album of a new band, if you know what I mean ;) It's much slower than usual Scooter albums, so I don't know how that will work live though, when tracks of TBMU are played amongst older hits from Scooter, because it's just so different this time.

We shouldn't judge the album based on samples. I think that lesson should be learned by now

The first listen is a bit shocking but you get used to it. There are also some "normal" Scooter tracks. I think the most dubsteppy is beyond the invincible. Bongswischbums Oink oink oink frrrrrr. I'm not a fan of this confusing sounds. Sounds like the cd is broken. :D

Probably deleted by Amazon by Kontor's request, since it spoils their whole "1 sample a day" idea :)

Glad to see the board is back, I was expecting it to be closed till the release of the album...

Great descritption  hahaha, it sounds exactly like Bongswischbums Oink oink frrrrr... hahahaha :D Probably the most unusual and most experimental Scooter track ever ;) :D

@Acid:
Yeah, I also thought due to the "keep the samples secret" the forum would restart on 14-10 and not earlier, but luckily we were wrong :)

I think the reason for all the house-stuff is Michael...he is a house-dj and I think he has the most influence in the new style...

Or maybe Chris Avantgarde that was often in the studio? ;) And well, it's more sort of dubstep - dnb - house - jump style so to speak, not really house.

I listened samples and well, some music is there but certainly it is not Scooter.
This is not announced "back to the roots" - it's probably just lack of ideas.
Deleting negative posts on official Scooter facebook is embarrassing- I've seen a lot of disappearing comments...
You recorded what you recorded, so now face criticism...

But i will not cancel my preorder due to TSTI /I just hope this is not exactly the same version that was posted on kontor.tv/.
What's wrong with you ?
