Dont want to spam or anything, but I thought I should have posted this here as well...I only posted it in the main Big Mash Up topic, in case this one is deleted, like the other topic about samples...
Well, this was weird...
1.
CIFL - not much to say, but it seems there are again reversed vocal samples, like they did in Keyser Soze (use your dildo

), anyone figured out what do they say?
2.
David Doesn't Eat - so strange for Scooter to choose a dubstep track for a single! I mean, it's so risky! Did they learn anything about experimenting, especially after Only One flopped? Otherwise, sample sounds good...looking forward to hear the rest.
3.
Dreams - drum and bass track (or it could be dubstep again, as many dubstep tracks have dnb parts included), and a cover of
Richard Sanderson - Reality -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL2FazadHoQ Dont know what to think yet, dont like the original, but the sample is too short to judge...I like the part before the chorus starts.
4.
Beyond The Invisible - again dubstep, still dont know if it's a cover of Enigma as the sample is too short and they could have included the well known melody somewhere else in the track...also this may be just a small dubstep part of the track, many artists do this since dubstep became so popular...they just have some kind of dubstep break in the track, and after it, the track continues in it's usual rhythm. We'll see....
5.
Sugary Dip - electro/house type of track...dont like it, as I hate the genre. I've never like the track they covered also -
Olivia Newton John - Have You Ever Been Mellow -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Cg2CojxQxw It has already been covered too many times by electronic artists....
6.
It's A Biz - ugh, just awful...another house track, with rapping...sounds like the sh*t that Guetta or Pitbull makes...why do they insist on following the trends? This sound is definitely not for Scooter!
7.
C'est Bleu - seems like hardstyle/hard trance track, dont know yet...Chorus melody reminds me of an old celtic tune, that has been remixed by Infected Mushroom
Power of the Celtics -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC1x6pL63pI Might be good, need to hear more...
8.
8:15 To Nowhere - basically a rip off of the
Vicious Pink track -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdwZ8JhKfig I dont like the original, and dont like this one as well, as it's too similar...has some kind of old school electro feel, not my cup of tea...
9.
Close Your Eyes - hopefully it will be trance track! Chorus inspired by
Echobelly - Dark Therapy -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVWw5t0niVg
10.
The Only One - dont know what else to say about this abomination...
11.
Sex And Drugs And Rock N Roll - again house/electro track? Back to old school huh? Just awful, my ears are bleeding...
12.
Copyright - and what do you know, another commercial house cr*p!! similar to Only One...there seems to be another guy rapping in the track.
13.
Bang Bang Club - another house track...this time with old school disco elements, probably a rip off.
14.
Summer Dream - Hardstyle/hard trance track...might be good, HPV sounds...interesting
15.
Mashuaia - of course, trance instrumental for the end...cant tell much judging by the sample...I suppose it's the track from the facebook video they have posted (with Rick on the keyboards)
BONUS:
Friends Turbo - not much to say again, not a bad cover but there's nothing really new, it's basically updated original version with new kicks...Would be a lot better if they chose a dnb remix as a single version and included it in the album as well.
Looking forward to hear the megamix, I hope there will be at least something similar like the Inferno mash up, though I doubt it because it would require too much work for them

Well, at least it's not another singles collection...
Final thoughts (so far): This was really UNEXPECTED! 2 dubstep tracks on the Scooter album and one of them chosen as a next single! This was a first shock...but positive kind of shock

I started to listen a little bit of dubstep in the past year so there are some tracks that I like and often listen...Scooter's dubstep sounds good as well, very good productions, and I cant wait to hear the whole tracks...If dubstep is really for Scooter, well it's completely different topic and I suppose there will be a lot of discussion about this...Let's just say I'm happy they've chosen dubstep, it's much better choice then commercial cr*ppy house anyway....although I would prefer they really returned to their roots as Rick said...
The biggest minus is of course -
TOO MUCH HOUSE! There are 6 house tracks on the album! And most of them sound like the biggest commercial sh*t that you see on TV every day...this is really low for Scooter. They must learn that house is not the right direction for the Scooter sound...and Only One was the first sign! Especially not this kind of house! Of course these are just samples but I can tell immediately that I will hate these tracks, maybe only Bang Bang Club will be listenable for me...
And of course, there are some trance/hardstyle tracks, actually there seems to be 2 hardstyle and 2 trance tracks (only 1 instrumental)? Anyway, they need
MORE TRANCE...that's the reason I (and many of us I hope) fell in love in Scooter sound and they are best in doing wonderful trance tracks, especially instrumentals! They must not forget this!
So it IS really a BIG MASH UP....we have: intro-dubstep-dnb-dubstep-house-house-hardstyle/trance-electro?-trance?-house-house-house-house-hardstyle/trance-trance-hardcore?

So I must say again...TOO...MUCH...HOUSE! Also, I would change the order of tracks so it would make some kind of sense...something like:
1. Intro
2. House tracks
3. 8:15 To Nowhere - electro?
4. Dubstep tracks
5. Dreams - DnB
6. Hardstyle tracks
7. Mashuaia
8. Friends Turbo
All we need is full tracks now...and I'm really looking forward to hear David Doesn't Eat and see the full video..
By the way, Amazon totally screwed their idea of "Big Mash Up Teaser Marathon"
