Is there anyone who have managed to find out what the computerized voice really says?
Would be interesting to know.

I've always thought the first words are: "At the age of tomorrow", but the word "tomorrow" could also be "world". Strange that two so different words coud sound the same in this case. But I think you guys are right, that it is actually: "In the ancient world..." Seems plausible now that I listen more carefully to it.

"In the ancient world" - "they started raving to the point (and this (echo, echo, mumble, mumble)...)...."??? No, this is a mystery. I have no clue what the last words are.
Find out what you cannot do... And then go and do it!!

In The Age of Tomorrow they started raving about corn dances in Mexico

It couldn't be anything else. I played it normally, slowed 15%, and 30%. All three times this is what I got.

I'm listening to RIM now, trying to see if it fits. But I think it has to be "in the ancient world".

"in the ancient world, they started raving about corn dances in Mexico"

This is what I hear, but I'm not sure about "raving" and "dances"... could be "ravings" and "dancers" by the sound of it :whistling:

Could be... I hear "Mexico", though.
Makes sense to me, as the line in that case contains the words in the title.

despite it still being a mystery to us after all these years, it still remains a classic scooter track, one of the best on the album

It seems this part of the lyric will stay a mystery, just as the last verse of "The Leading Horse". But who knows, maybe someone one day gets a bright idea and will solve the mystery :D

I gave it a try yesterday again, and I think the lyrics the computerized voice says are:

" In the ancient world they started creating some rough corndances...mexico, mexico, mexico! "

And it would make sense, because corndancers exist that do the corn dances, see this image below for example, and read what's written below it ;)

And when one googles one also finds them:
https://www.google.nl/search?q=corndance…iw=1280&bih=931

So I think I'm on the right track with this discovery, I hope atleast, but I think I am, and Traxx also once already mentioned corndances too, and I hear it too now after spending some time rewinding it over and over again, so 2 of us hear this now, so it seems plausible this is the lyric :)

I gave it a listen while looking at your line, and I think it might be correct, or as close to correct as anyone can come.

And the corndances and corn-dancers exist in ancient Mexico, so it would make sense in that case too. This is the best I could do, and I've tried it also in the past, but yesterday suddenly got the revelation in my ears :) Let's do the corndance in that case! :D

Yeah, well, to correct it a little bit:

" In the ancient world they started creating some rough corn dances in Mexico! (Mexico) (Mexico) "

But I believe it's as close to correct as we can come, without knowing :)

i have to agree, sounds right to me, unless scooter changes the words a bit, to something like CORE DANCE, meaning hardcore, that too would suit the time in the 90's and scooter's way of changing words like they have done

When saying "corn dances" in a not so clear way, the ear hears "core dance", so maybe it;s a sort of wordplay saying one thing but let it sound like something else, good point Kelvo :)
