Wrong. UTROTT sucked because it sucked. Cheesy, wooden, unimaginative. It however did have an ALBUM/coherent sound. Not necessarily a good thing in this case.
TSTE is a PRIME example of an ALBUM/Coherent sound and in this case a GREAT thing. The album had a "sound" and sounded like an album. 1 = 1. But it also had amazing diversity in song writing and structure, melodies, etc...
We need another TSTE.

My guess is that Fire is just an awesome track that they wanted to play on the inferno![]()
How could the be a test, playing an old tune for the fans?
I'd be more of a test if they'd put a guitar in TOO and played it in concert
But still, it could have been some little test, providing the info from mr. Langford is correct. But well, as you say, it's an old hit, and great for a mega show performance, so yes, i admit I might have been wrong with the reason they played it
