... really surprising, because I actually thought the track would do rather well. And fans in general seemed to really liked it, and some of them didn't like FT nor bought that one, so I was sure when they like TOO and will buy this one it would do much better in the charts than FT did. But as it seems FT will win it. Actually, it has won already.

Etc. Way too many mistakes!
I think it's a ridiculous idea but sometimes people act strangely. And then the fact that Friends Turbo ruined the effect of brand new Scooter sound for many (who don't read this forum and know about everyting the band does and thought FT was the first show of the stuff they've been working on).

This is pretty much the way I feel too, despite viewing myself as a fan since many years. The last album as actually pretty good, but it did not feel fresh. In the last few albums Scooter have seemingly lacked inspiration. It seems they have run out of gas. Around 2003, when TSTE was released, I could see the Scooter album lying in people's homes here and there, even at people who I certaily did not expect would listen to Scooter. Now you can't even buy their album in a music store in Sweden anymore (the last single I bought in a CD store was Jigga Jigga, after that I have had to buy everything online). When I spoke to several people recently, that I am going to a Scooter concert in Hamburg, they were surprised that they still exist.
They said that once they liked Scooter, but then got tired of them because "they still were playing similar songs. "
And so it seems.
We, the fans still listen to them - but people from outside are already bored with almost 50-year-old guy screaming to the microphone.
Besides, after so many years on the market, Scooter has lost freshness ...
I think the same and do not understand the admiration for this track. And to be honest, The Only One is NOT a good track at all and it didn't deserve anything better.![]()

I hope that won't be their demise then... I can't understand the thinking that everything but that structure would be too risky, it's not like their career would fail with one different single. Plus I believe people like to hear stuff that doesn't follow that pattern.they'll neither try ever anything different. just too risky.
