Something I've always wondered...

As we all know, Scooter doesn't play LIVE. But they sometimes add 'live' features. What I was wondering, is the hardware they use live (Synths and what not) what they used for those certain tracks in the studio? For example, during the second chapter there are some evident super saw sounds (coming from the JP-8000 of course) and sure enough the JP-8000 is on stage.

Some newer stuff: Michael and Rick are using what looks like Access Virus TI 2 keyboards and a Roland Fantom? Are they primarily what's used in the studio?

So are those synthesizers on stage what they primarily used during the producing of the album or just for show?

AFAIK they use them both on stage and in the studio.
And of course they do have many more synthesizers in their studio for production.

2 years ago they told me in an interview that the synths on stage are just for show. They don't use them live... and that's sad :(
I doubt that they use the synths in studio either. I guess most of the presets are now on their digital stuff.

But yeah, they use two Virus TIs on stage and two macbooks.

Actually? Jeez :-( I knew they used playback for live, but it sucks to think they don't use them :-(

But occasionally they do play some synths in between the tracks, so the synth is connected atleast. But yeah, for the performance of tracks they seem not to use them as far as I know, or atleast use them in a limited way occasionally to put some extra sort of tunes into the music as a little addition.

It's still sad that Rick's live piano performances and the TB-303 tweaking (remember Trance Atlantic / Acid Air Raid LIVE?) faded into ONE single chord (bwaooooooosh!) between tracks...
