we had some rock elements in TUAO already...
I've always thought that Scooter weren't really satisfied with that album.
I'm open to experiments :)

WOW! This place has gone downhill so quickly, quite pathetic really. Its a shame really sometimes I don't think this is a place for real fans anymore, more like a place for people to hang-out and socialise. Then when someone forms an opinion you quickly pounce on them and squash any form of discussion by kissing each others as.ses and then making a random post with an HP quote.

Dear God people, get a life. I've been through some real life-changing experiences over the last few months and its made me a better person for it. I have not had the desire to post here for such a long time. This forum will NEVER be the same again.

Me too. I have high hopes for this one! If all the tracks are as good as TOO, then I think they will be so successful that people in the USA will know them!!!

That would be nice.. Isn´t USA a Country where RnB and Hip-Hop music is mostly liked by the people??

Yeah, Currently that is popular but I think with Techno music blending into Hip Hop, the USA is starting to like Techno music.

AFAIK Rammstein is bretty big in the USA and so are Tokio Hotel.
Both of them are rock acts...

They have the positive side effect, that rock music reaches a wider audience very easy.
I think it's very hard for Scooter to be successfull in the USA and they don't seem to try.
Would take a whole lot of time to make a small US tour with concerts up to 2 or 3 thousand attendees.
They need at least a decent base to start with and a label which is willing to promote, then it COULD work...

Moste likely this will never happen, USA isn't that important to Scooter i think :(

Scooter could easily become popular in the USA, if there was a label to promote them there.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

They just seem not that interested in USA, I guess. No idea whether people'd like them but I guess it'd be divided there as well -- people would either love or hate them.

As for album (I think) news; "we recorded some great female vocals today, expect the best !" from their Facebook.
 This is a signature.

It seems my prophecy of a few months ago was quite right once again :D I expected songs that would be inspired by songs of Swedish House Mafia, with choruses with distorted vocals and female vocals and sing along parts for in the stadium. Now lets see if we will get some dancehall inspired tracks, because in that case my prophecy would have been ripped LOL :P

i kinda had the same feeling, guetta style is no where near as good as a scooter style, and the SHM sounds like a style that would suit scooter well, as we now can hear

If they did come here they would have an american and Canadian fanbase( which is bigger than you would think.) to attend concerts. But I think it would work with some promotion, but I dont think they have the time or energy to do it. :S

Hum......well not too many americans know who Tokio Hotel are and they arent that popular here. The only big "german" group they know of are Rammstein and even then its a small group...lol

The music in the USA is trash, sadly there is no other way to put it. It's all the result of a male dominated commercialized culture, and it's complete s*it. Sorry, thats just the way I feel about it.
